Don't hate me butttt....I like the movie better! I did appreciate the extra lore that the movies skip over but I really don't like SM's writing! Kinda cringe.

Author is a POS but the book is fine.

Quinn has a bit of a savior complex and I think his activism is a little performative. However, it is a beautiful exploration of both sides given the context.

What a fun little story! I think I like vampire romances which makes me feel like my mom.

Akwaeke is an AMAZING writer! I love how they set the scene and their writing style is very unique. This one was just darker and more sexual than I anticipated with so much SA. A very interesting and diverse story.

Not a big fan of reading plays but this one I enjoyed. A lot of people hate that it just ends but I kinda like it so that others can interpret the ending.

Heard so many mixed reviews but personally, I loved it! Finished it in a day!

God I love Louise Erdrich.

made me bawl my eyes out. Important message on colonization and brutality that occurs in Residential Schools.
