It took a WHILE mostly because I annotated so much, but it was very interesting and meaningful. The epilogue was satisfying not just because I finished the book but because it wraps up her message nicely.
While I think there tended to be some academic over yapping, I couldn't put this book down. It kinda felt relatable sometimes and it was nice they were slow. I even read the acknowledgements and ending stuff. I never do that...
She was super annoying as a main character. Near the end all I thought was she didn't learn her lesson, but she redeemed herself as a character in the last chapter.
Interesting book. It scared me at first. I'm optimistic and like to believe that the author meant well by the way it ended. That's not a spoiler, right?
Yes. Finally. The ship has sailed and a new ship is on its path. I absolutely love this book. Even though it's finished and I'm satisfied, it would be nice to have books like Life After Rebel, similar to life after legend. I love Marie Lu
NOOOOOO! I love Marie Lu, but WhY? When I first learned the last line of the book I was really confused, but it all makes sense. Now I have to read Rebel and want to read the graphic novel of this one because I want to see how they turned out.
I really liked the ending especially. The queen gets judged and learns that she must take action and that even in her high position, people still judge her and make her feel uncomfortable.
Ugh why. me the whole time Could have been better, but it really depends on how the series ends. So many confusions but I still like the author's writing and effort in carrying on with the series.
