See allThis book is never really gonna leave my head, is it?I would give it a thousand stars and many more. Enough stars to make a path full of constellations for Patroclus to walk on when he goes to the underground to meet Aristos Achaion, the true one. I am not a poet but just let me rant because i am heartbroken.
The way my heart broke and my soul wept with this book? You would have been scared if you saw me cry over this book. It started with a high pitched shrill, got to low continuous sobbing to gut wrenching bellowing cries. I want to be buried with this book. It will forever be with me, as long as I shall live.
My rating: ☆☆☆☆
Although I cannot exactly see the enemies to lovers I was promised, I definitely love this book. The main plots are court politics, inter-kingdom and interpersonal dynamics and the upbringing of the female protagonist, Jude.
Absolutely loved it although I did find it a little triggering to be a young adult romantasy. One of my favourite books this year.
Never have i ever looked up spoilers because I thought i had patience. Until this.
I was so pissed at the major plot twist around the end that I looked up spoilers. And now that I know it's favourable for me, I will happily continue the series. And I don't regret looking it up one bit. Worth it.
I'm in denial and that's the review.
But straight five stars nevertheless.
“I am already home.” with this duology.
Ah, the dehumanising effects of bureaucracy.
I just cannot seem to decide though.
It was good but boring?
