i did not enjoy this nearly as much as i thought i would. too much europe and colonization not enough plague

Parts of it were slower to read and parts of it I felt moved really fast. Super interesting story and I learned a lot but I feel immediately like I need to read it again because of how much I already know I don't remember. But highly recommend for anyone who has or will live in CA
