Disturbing and sad, yet heartwarming.

This was so deeply disturbing, yet hopeful and impressive at the end.

This book lacked the emotional intimacy I was craving—mostly from Marianne, but really from both of them.

This was a sad and depressing novel. I wanted to stop reading it a bunch of times, but kept on reading for some reason. Probably because this got high ratings and she’s got several top selling books out now. I did like the ending. I may read one or two of her other books, but not until next year. The little girl, Izzy in the book was so darn cute. And, I was rooting for a happy ending for the protagonist, Annie.

I loved it. I definitely wish I read this book about a year ago, but better now than never. This is a great book. This book is great for anyone that is stuck in business or in a relationship. Thinking about quitting something? Not thinking about quitting but should be? The Dip teaches you when to quit and when to stick with it. It's a quick read and well worth it.
