This poetry book is amazing and does a fantastic job of showing others what life as a native American is like. Highly recommend.
The way Lovelace discusses trauma, grief, death, and moving on from it all is beautiful, and it helped me see my own growth in a new light.
This book forced me, in a good way, to reflect on so many aspects of my life. I always recommend it to others, and reread it when I can.
The depth of this book is intense and deep, especially as a second book. I adored it, but it was so long I had to take breaks before continuing to make sure how dark parts were didn't affect me too much. I'm excited for book 3, but will probably give myself a break before diving into it.
This book changed my perspective on art and the creative process. I will need to reread it, and probably often.
I adore second chance romance stories, and I loved how until the very end it was entirely unclear if Anne would actually have a second chance with her first true love again or not. It was a roller coaster of emotions and I enjoyed it immensely.
Love this book and series, but it does depend a little on you having read the first book. It's also just slightly too fast paced for me, just barely. Otherwise, adore it.
