Such a lovely book!

I really enjoyed my first Marisa de los Santos book, planning to read more. Vivid descriptions, lovely characters, and somehow it felt British to me although it isn't :)

The book was somewhat too slow paced/ too detailed for my 5 year old. He loved being compared to a car that can't stand still, though.

It's a realistic, not too prettified , although surely with some benefit of hindsight story of the path to Delancey, a pizza restaurant in Seattle, along with some recipes.

An enjoyable book

I like most of Kinsella's books, and this one was no exception. A fun read, with a touch of “whats real” in the time of social networks thrown in.
