I expected more. This feels like a set of interesting, but not really that related stories and conclusions, that the author tried to link together through the concept of nexus. It reminds me of Gladwell's books.

Saying it's a true crime book sells it way too short. It is a non-fiction book that is rich in the research, sources, and facts, but keeps you engaged like a novel.

"It's hard for me to live with me" is a very honest autobiography that goes into Rex's painful experiences with racism, addiction, pain, injuries etc. It is not a basketball-focused book, and when it is, it's focused more on his college career more than the NBA one.
