Now this was an ending i did NOT see coming

Loved everything about this book! Such a nice read

I think 3,5 stars? Not entirely sure what Chris was trying here. I feel like she wasn't really able to pinpoint her exact idea?

Oookaaaay woah.

Took me a little while to really get into it, but once I was into it...man did I love it.

Interesting combo of fiction and nonfiction, love the rawness and bluntness (which, honestly, if you know me, shouldn't be a surprise hahaha)

Now this book took a turn I did NOT see coming!!!

Honestly just listened to the audio book after watching the Netflix series! Really intrigued me to learn more

Alriiiiight I don't know what the heck I was thinking hahahaha

Okay 3,5 stars. I get why some people would really love this. And I really want to love it, but I can't lol. I do find it funny that you can ALWAYS tell if the author is American or not; because this book screams American. Did really like the story and the thought behind the book

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT

Such a sweet read, written so well

This is RAW

Y'all should know by now that that means, I love it

Ik denk niet dat ik dit boek op een beter moment had tegen kunnen komen. Eerlijk geschreven en erg ruw

Alright, I got no words hahahah

I'd say 3,5 stars. Definitely a good introduction, easy to read (very well done, as usual Appiah, again). But, like usual with Appiah, I feel like his work just kind of, hangs there? It just exists, or something. Maybe too free for interpretation if there is such a thing

I don't think I could've read this at a better time in my life so far. Incredibly good, honest and heartfelt. This is what poetry is and should be.

3,5 ster. Erg Russisch hahaha, heb hem horen spreken bij ILFU. Niet bijzonder goed of ‘denderend', maar ik raad het wel aan als je van Russische literatuur houdt
