This series has been a hit or miss for me. I loved the first book, the second one was not the greatest and honestly this one was just okay. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. Definitely had a variety of mix feelings about the whole thing. I'm coughing it up to the plot of the story, maybe mobsters just don't do it for me.
There were parts in the story that made me so angry of how naive and obsessed Ashling was but then there's moments where you're like ‘she's a badass', can't believe she managed that. So I'm left thinking, “which one is she?”
Don't get me started with Sam, he was a total asshat. Was he hot? Yes! - Was he damn sexy? Yes! - Would I want him to jump my bones and enjoy that pool table scene? Hella Yes! But at the same time I can't handle that ‘I-get-everything-I-want-cause-I-can' attitude and the fact that Ashling just takes it; wasn't my cup of tea.
As far as smuttiness; it was hot but I could have wanted more.
This was an absolute swoony feel good romance you are looking for as your summer reads. This slow burn romance tells the the story of Evie Starling, who's life hasn't turned out the way she'd expected at the age of thirty three. Shitty job, no love prospects, her best friends starting a family, and a complicated relationship with her mother.
So what to do when all is going wrong is your life.Evie decides to pack her bags and fly across the pond to a quant small town in England. Here she discovers new friendships, new passions, and hopefully a new light on love.
Of course she soon becomes friends with the gorgeous farmer, Roane, where she avoids any possibility in falling for him. Turning him straight into the friends zone. But Roane is absolutely the perfect book boyfriend and Evie just won't be able to help herself.

I was so excited for the return of the characters of ‘See Me After Class'.
We got the romance between Romeo and Stella but also got to see where Arlo, Greer, Lindsay, and Gunner were in their love stories. I absolutely enjoy it from begin to end. This group of friends always make me pee my pants of laughter with all their antics.
The story starts with Stella and Romeo having a rocky friendship cause Romeo had tried telling her about his feelings and it back fired on him. So now the two are at odds with nonstop bickering and uncomfortable situations.
The group plans a Hawaiian vacation for a special event and the two have to find a way to deal with each other and get along. But in a drunk moment, Stella awkwardly runs into her Dad and his new girlfriend/fiancé, which turns out to be her nemesis from high school. Stella ends up telling them that she is also engaged to none other than her not-so-friendly friend Romeo.
I'd say this is a friends turned enemies turned lovers story. With a lot of laugh out loud moments, steamy goodness, and adorable friendships.
On a negative note, the dad storyline was a little much and could have been shorten a bit. But overall always a great read from Meghan.

Thank you NetGalley & Kensington Books for this ARC for my honest review.
This was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nora and Will's journey about overcoming loss, rebuilding yourself and learning to truly embrace new love; yea, gave me all the feels. I couldn't put this one down, definitely a one sit read for me. This story makes you laugh, makes you want to cry and makes you love again.
