This was so cute I enjoyed it. Make sure you have something to eat because this book will make you hungry. So happy with the ending of this book.
I love this book with a plus size Latina woman who doesn't hate herself because she's fat. And Gabe parents is something I try to been with my son. To read about Gabe and how is parents show him how to be a better person. This book has positive Latine representation that I know we as a community need. It has a solid couple who are self-aware enough to be good, supportive partners, friends, and siblings. It has a positive bro group and found family.
I didn't like Tinsley's POV at all. Wish it was not part of the story. There were however a lot of stereotypes that thus book played into, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
I enjoy this book. I did feel like slapping Cameron on some parts of the book. The alone thing dont read the description because it will spoiler the whole book for you.
I love this book. This is my first time reading a Pocket Change collective and I love it. I appreciated the discussion of identity from the perspective of an author with many intersectional identities. Chella took us on a small trip about life, self-discovery and acceptance. Everyone should take this book, read it and learn from it.
I read this because I join a readathon. If it was not for the oldschool readathon I will have never heard about this book. I enjoy it so much that I am going to read more from this author. Really twisty. Refreshing to read “old-style” 80's YA horror
This was so good. An enjoyable accompaniment to his autobiography. Malcolm went through a lot, this book provided a clear picture of how he remained close to his siblings and how they all discovered Islam together. This book also proved to us the more things change, the more they really remain the same. This timeline was during the early 1930s prison system and in 2021 things are really no different. I didn't know too much about his life. School don't teach you too much about Malcolm X. So I love that I learn more about him.
I got a ARC for my honors opinion so here it is.
I'm not one to read too much of historical romance but this book was so wonderful to read. The beginning did had a bit of a rocky start but it ended up being a wonderful book. I do wish we got a bit more for the ending. But overall it was a wonderful book.
There's something about the way that Angelina M. Lopez writes her female main characters that really just speaks to me. They are messy and falling apart, don't have all their shit together. I loved the couple and build to them. The tension and longing was strong.
I liked this one more than the 1st one. And the ending was so much better then the 1st one. I will keep on reading more Goosebumps book. I am loving it.
Oh my heart, this was SO FREAKING CUTE and I was so invested in these characters. This was cute! I liked the art style a lot. I really enjoyed the friend group and Watson the pig was hilarious. Love that the romance didn't take away from the story.
There's some good stuff in here, but I feel like it was not all the way good. It needed more to the story. Some of the story felt like it was not finish. That why I am giving it a 2.5 star.
I enjoy this book. It was dark magic and a gay book too so yes I read it. And yes I do see Simon and The Raven Boys mix in this great book.
This series was so good. I can't put it down at all. When I finish a book I will pick up the next one. This one did made made me cry a little bit. Not happy that this is done. I want more of all the men.
If you have not read the first book go and read them before you read my review of this one. I love the new relationship between them all. This second installment was so much fun because you finally get to learn more about Oli's powers and also learning about everyone else in her bond group as well.
Black, trans girl lead who is selectively verbal and uses sign language frequently. Jam's best friend has three parents (they are in a polyamorous relationship and one of the parents uses they/them pronouns). And the Entirely black cast. I enjoyed the writing so much and the magical realism aspects.
I enjoyed this book. I am supposed that it have a low rating. I read this at the time of the Submarine happed. And now I have what to get on a ship at all anytime soon. The way the ocean is described in this story is filled with gloomy, supernatural horror, yet it is so oddly beautiful and captivating that it makes the tragic finale of the tale leave you all the more speechless.
Not a fan of this one. I kind of low key didn't care for the sisters they were a bit annoying.
I enjoy this book but I still love the first book. I did like that the kids had a bit of more help from the adults. There are also several plot twists that may surprise younger readers, but that experienced fantasy readers will see coming a mile away.
I really enjoyed this! It's fast-paced and funny, and I loved the art work. It really pulled me in and I laughed and cried reading this.
The more I read the more I cry. This book is so beautiful at the same time sad. I love that they talked about time travel more. And the little stories in the end of it is so cute.
Wow
I can't wait for the Second book.
If TJ ask me to be his four week fiancé I will say yes too but I know I will hate to know what is going on with his dad and him in this whole plan.
Is so crazy and I need to know how TJ is going to get his cake and eat it too.
Mila is going to be crush when she finds out all of TJ secrets. Idk how I feel about TJ myself.
I never hear of a Death Doula and I love that this is a thing. As a HHA I feel like we need to talk more about death. I will be looking into a death doula. And I had a lot of death in the pass few months. Clover has been faced with death several times in her young life but the death of her grandfather is the one that rocked her world.
This is the third book of The Bridge Kingdom. And it was so good. This follows two different characters. It follows Zarrah and Keris. It was a little bit more 🌶️ than the other two. Not so much but it had it and I loved it. Yes by the end of the book some of the chapters was okay. But the ending got me giving this a 5⭐️. And I need book 4 like now.
