This one was my least favorite book of the whole series. I still enjoy it but I did feel like it could be better.
I would happily read more stories about Faith and her desire to make the world a better place. Julie Murphy still has a way of wrapping you in her words and wanting more.
If you have not read the other books on this series you need to read them. I love this series so much. The ending of this book got me reading the 5th book so fast.
Cyrus was everything, I loved how patient and passionate he was with Reece. I love this series is the cutest, coziest monster romances that I needed in my life. And the whole thing with tentacles so f**king great.
This is so beautiful written. And all the hype around it was right. One of the character name was almost my last name. It was missing a E in the end lol. I love the twist in the end. I did not see it coming. And I love how some of the characters mentor and each chapter. Love the friendship between them too.
It was a bit dry for me. I tried to read it with different ways to read a book.(ebook, audiobook, physical book) But I couldn't get into the story at all. I see on other websites that I am not the only one who thinks like that.
I enjoy this book. Love the family. I like that the boys are city boys who are seeing a different live in the country.
I didn't think I was going to love this book like I did. and the ending OMG. I need book 2 now. Staying alive would be a lot easier if Violet didn't have a target on her back for not only being ‘small and frail' but the daughter of the woman responsible for the deaths of many cadet's traitorous parents.
I picked this up for the Trans Rights Readathon (running on all bookish social media near you from March 20-27, 2023) and I absolutely loved it. A beautifully crafted story of 2 non binary teens who find each other despite feeling like they don't belong anywhere. It's also about the terror and thrill of showing all of yourself to another person.
I enjoy the story. I like the world building, the various demons and creatures and spirits. But the main character didn't have a large character development that I wish it did. And no this book is not a romance like some people was saying. I think this is a solid book. I just didn't love it like I was hoping I would.
This is my first Ivy Tholen, and I'll now be reading the rest of her books. It's set in the 90s at a mall. People are getting murdered one by one. A great twist! Didn't love the characters as much. And I hate how the parents didn't care about the kids.
I enjoy reading this book. Fake Dates and Mooncakes is a sweet book packed with an adorable romance, an exploration into Chinese culture, family ties, and the most mouthwatering descriptions of food.
Kristina Forest is a go to author. I love her books so much. I loved Lily and Nick's story! They are both such fantastic, layered characters. If you like to read books that have emails you should read this one. And once you read this one read all of her other books.
These characters want to burn shit down and rebuild and it is so exciting to read. It was fantastic to see more of this world and characters, and to see the author get to experiment a bit with how the story is told.
There was an aura of sadness throughout the book that I was, unfortunately, getting tired of since it really felt like nothing was happening in the book. Loved the ending but overall it was a okay book.
At first I didn't care for the family story but it got good in the end. I did enjoy more Peyote then the family. Happy I got to read this story.
This group of hospice teens are shouldering the heaviest of burdens. The stories they tell are actually creative and enjoyable. I never read a book by Christopher Pike and so Happy this was my 1st one. Can't wait to read more.
I enjoy this book. At first I did not know who was Elliot Page but at the same time he look familiar. So when I was reading this book I found out why he looked familiar. I cant wait to see more of him in TV. Love leaning more about a person and get to look at they life more.
This book was so good. I read it for two reason one for the #readformaui and for #23for23 I did get a bit emotional. I wanted to kill the a$$ who did that to them all. And the ending had me thinking so much. This was a good book to read. I don't even have the words to describe just how deeply I adored this gorgeous, magical, healing story! And the COVER is so beautiful.
I remember reading this book in high school and love it back then. So rereading it remind that I do enjoy reading this book.
What a cliffhanger! I swear it made me yell in frustration. The way I'm devouring these books like it's my favorite chocolate cake is ridiculous. I'm obsessed!
Kristina Forest is so good at building characters you can fall in love. This is such an adorable teenage love story. Zyla & Kai knew from the first moment but they were so caught up in not wanting to mess things up that they were their own undoing. And that darn Camille I hated her so much. I wish Zyla best friend will had whoop her butt for her.
When I read this book I had a bad news. So at first I was not going to finish it but I did and I am happy I did. It's impossible to put into words exactly how this book made me feel. It was one of the most heartbreaking yet beautiful love stories that I had reading.
This is a story filled with horror and awe that send shivers down your spine. M. Valdemar is hypnotized at the point of his death, the outcome is totally improbable, but I liked this dark story.
