This was a super fun one sitting read. I'll definitely be picking up the second book!
This one was not nearly as good as the Unhoneymooners, but I'm still going to pick up more of their books.
3.5...four stars for the book within a book, three for the present day story line.
Nope. Repetitive, boring, uber ridiculous and in desperate need of editing. Maybe the worst book I've read all year.
Jim Dale audiobook - love his voices, except I have to say he does a TERRIBLE Hermione.
Ten stars. TEN STARS! My favorite book of the series, my favorite book of the year...stunning.
This was such an enjoyable read! I'm really glad my library finally got a digital copy and I can't wait for the next installment.
I found this story to be far less engaging and personable than her last. Disappointed.
Perhaps closer to a 2 star. This book alternates between two main POVs, that of a DI leading the investigation and the main character in the central mystery. The police storyline was weak and the characters were very two dimensional and never fleshed out. The mystery itself was quite dull, and the second half of the book contained a LOT of graphic domestic violence that really turned my stomach. Not a fan of this one.
This was definitely a very creepy story, but as with all of Flynn's books it fell short for me. I guess it must be me, not her, since I appear to be in the minority here three books in a row. I listened to the audiobook version, which clocked in at under an hour and a half, and while enjoyable, I did not find the ending as satisfying as some other reviewers.
3 stars for the story, which dragged in some places but was still thrilling, and 4 stars for the ensemble cast performing the audiobook. Super entertaining and engaging!
Recommended for fans of Geek Love and Lauren Groff. Beautiful, nauseating, heartbreaking.
Oh brother. This was so over the top with the dramatic angst. While the writing in itself wasn't bad, they story was just completely unbelievable and ridiculous. Not my brand of romance at all, I likely won't be picking up another book by this author.
