This book resonated with me so much! There are many nuggets of wisdom I totally agree with, and I also love how humble and open Björn is. It's so validating to read about people who are unapologetically human.

This book is perfect for those who enjoy slow-burn romances that really tug at your heartstrings! While the book is YA, the characters didn't come across as too immature, making it a great read for adults as well.
Liz is a hopeless romantic whose childhood crush, Michael, moves back to town. To show him that she's not the goofy little Liz she used to be but a viable girlfriend candidate, she asks her pain-in-the-ass neighbor Wes to help change Michael's view of her. However, as Liz and Wes spend more time together, she starts to question if she's chasing after the right guy after all.
For once, I didn't hate the third-act conflict at all. While the main character made some pretty stupid decisions, the conflicts were resolved in a way that actually highlighted the characters' growth over the span of the book.
Lynn Painter's writing is excellent and has the ability to really bring the characters to life. I cried so much over the beautiful prose and Liz's relationship with her mom, stepmom, and friends. Most interactions between her and Wes I felt physically as little tugs in my belly, and that made me fall in love with the book even more.

I loved how absurd and unhinged this book was. The writing style was a treat and I enjoyed the satire a great deal. I was a bit afraid of the horror aspects, but I could handle them just fine. If you're not usually into horror, please don't skip this book just because of that!

So much of this book reminds me of Life is Strange, Black Swan, and Mean Girls. But in the best way! When I finished this, I was left with so many questions wanted to do a re-read straight away.

This book is a must-read for everyone! It explains saving, investing, the economy, etc. in a practical way and is very well written. This would have saved me from so many money-related mistakes if I had read it before moving out on my own for the first time.

While I've been saving and investing for years already, there was lots of practical information about real estate that I've been looking for but haven't found anywhere else. There were lots of times I found myself thinking “Why isn't this taught in school? or “Why didn't I read this book sooner?”. 

I also loved the fact that the book was very inclusive and easy to read. It talked a lot about the finances of people who aren't wealthy at all, which makes it relatable to most people.

If you love small-town romances and don't mind some paranormal aspects, this book is perfect for you! It's about a fake spirit medium named Gretchen, who is tasked with helping a friend of a client sell their house by exorcising the ghost who haunts it. However, the owner of the house doesn't believe in the supernatural, and Gretchen finds herself trying to convince him that this time, it's not a con, and there truly is a ghost named Everett haunting the house.

The ghost, Everett, is hilarious and unhinged, and the main couple, Gretchen and Charlie, are both quite relatable. I couldn't help but devour the book in a single day! The spicy parts of the book are very well-written, and I was hooked from the very first chapter. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating was that I felt we could have had a more thorough development of the main couple's relationship. While the book is not short by any means, I felt that the pacing of the relationship was a bit rushed at times.
