Really enjoyed this book. Deuce and Fade are probably my favorite dystopian/apocalypse couple. Also love all of the feminism that is in this book. Great read.

This book was an epic journey that took me 3 months to conquer, but what a ride! This novel was filled with so many twists and turns. I think it rivals Lord of the Rings just because of the attention to detail that went into this world he created! I am so happy I took the time to read this.

What an absolutely enthralling and intriguing read. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a mystery to end all mysteries. Weaving just enough suspense and romance to round a very strong plot. Once you get into the book it's very difficult to put it down. But it is a difficult ready because of the amount of tangled webs and people to keep track of.

I was going to give this a really low review because about 2/3rds of this book reminded me heavily of Twilight. Schuyler is impossibly in love with Jack Force to the point where it's so incomprehensibly silly and I was just pissed reading about their love affair. This foursome between Mimi - Jack - Oliver - and Schuyler was really making me gag. Especially since it's so, so obvious that Schuyler is not going to get anywhere with Jack, even if he thinks he can break this so called bond. It was exactly like Jacob and Bella, it made me want to hurl.

But, before I could write off the book as another one of those stories that would set back women a couple of decades de la Cruz did something that saved the book. She added action and real conflict that had nothing to do with romance or love. Bliss is harboring Lucifer and destroyed a large majority of the blue bloods. A real threat that is more important than some foolish girl who can't see past her own love sick actions.

The book turned dark in a way that made it surpass the superficiality and pop culture references that had littered it previously and for a couple minutes I got a glimpse of what this book could be if she continues to focus on that plot instead of these silly romantic subplots. So, now I'm looking forward to the next book. If only to see if the story continues to get better.

This isn't a good book because it has a great story or wonderful plot development. It's a good book because the message it delivers is powerful and real. I'm so paranoid after reading this installment, but I'm also so incredibly informed and I think that's a wonderful thing. Knowledge is power.
