I was not sold on this series at all. It took me *literally* two weeks to even get 100 pages into the first book. It's a messy mixture of a mafia drama, a sports rivalry, and a romance, frequently the timelines described don't make sense & don't line up, and Andrew may be the most detestable character ever fucking written...

Eli cleaned the blood from his hand.
"No," he said softly. "No one ever has."
Literally - this entire series could’ve been solved and been 50 pages if they’d just kissed at the beginning.
After how lackluster Ravensong was in comparison to Wolfsong, I preemptively wanted to dislike this. I couldn't. Best one so far. Ugh.
