This book had great ratings, but I just couldn't get into it. I listened to about 10% and the only takeaways I got were that he started writing this book by answering questions on Quora, and he spoke alot about crabs, or maybe it was lobsters, and their mating process. Unfortunately, this book started out rough and I gave up.
I knew it was going to be a slow burn, but I didn't understand how slow! Holy Guacamole! This one was sloooooowwwww! Overall, cute story, it was fairly well developed, the romance was too short for me - they didn't admit their feelings until the very last chapter. I was dying waiting for them to come together! Overall, nice story, not sure I'd recommend.
AUDIOBOOK/E-BOOK
An enemies to marriage office romance. This story is emotional, I was ugly crying about half-way through. Watching his transformation from mean and arrogant to kind and loving was incredible. Well written story that draws you in and you can't put it down.

Meh, I don't recommend this book. It started out great, but about halfway through took a turn that I didn't like and the end was blah.
Brody's aggressiveness was hot, and his romance was incredible - I loved his gift of sticks rather than flowers. Their banter was adorable. The chase was great!
About halfway through there is an addition of another point of view - Brody's ex-wife, Willow, who I assumed was dead before this. I didn't want to hear about her therapy sessions or how she thought this was her time to get Brody back. The romance and excitement I had building up for Deliah and Brody went cold as I learned about Willow.
Don't waste your time on this book.
It was cute, too slow for my personal taste. I read about 75%, but life got busy, I lost interest, and I couldn't get back into it.
I DO NOT reccomend this book. It started off so great, and then the second half was all baby mama drama. It was terrible, but I had to know how it would finish.... unfortunately it felt rushed and hyperfocused on the kid. The ending was terrible. I hated this book. Don't waste your time.

Very good book changing your perspective on what you allow yourself to care about, what you allow take up your time and energy. Very good book that has helped reduce my anxiety by shifting my focus or just not caring at all when things don't go as I planned. Highly recommend.
AUDIOBOOK
Very good! Highly recommend! Something worth taking notes, reflecting, and applying.
Great story line with romance. I loved their connection and how hard they fought for their love.
AUDIOBOOK
It took me a few months to get through this book because I was borrowing it from my library and the content is so heavy.
This book is very informative, but limited practical applications for adults. It felt more like a textbook rather than a self-help book. Many examples on how to help kids learn and express their feelings and emotions, but nothing for adults, at least nothing I can recall.
Overall, it's a good book, full of tons of information on how understanding our emotions is just as important as learning math. I'd recommend if you're nerdy and love the story behind the story.
I wanted to like this book, it had great potential, but it's just not my style. Too much smut, not enough story. And what story it had was blah and boring. I do not reccomend
Compared to the other romance novels I've been reading, this was so much better. So much more story. I couldn't put it down!
It was cute and I couldn't put it down. I liked the storyline and their romance, but personally, I'm over the college setting book, so this is my last one.

This book was incredible!!! Highly recommend. Wow! I need to listen again and take notes.
I stopped with 4 chapters left, it felt so repetitive and boring. I couldn't force myself to finish it.
The book was ok.... the romance was cute, slightly sinful, but there were moments that the lead female character, Charlotte, was too much for me. She has a lot of past hurt and she's working through that with this new relationship, but there were moments I thought ‘omg, you're an adult, please act like it'! She allowed her past hurts to control her life and I couldn't read about her self pity any longer.
Overall, their romance was cute, but I do not reccomend this book. Not worth the frustration.

HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone who struggles with anxiety, overthinking, and just bad thought patterns. This book was INCREDIBLE!!! Every chapter I was thinking ‘this author is inside my head, like she knows exactly what I'm struggling with!' Not only did the author identify my struggles, but she gave bite-sized action steps with each chapter. This will become a regular listen for me as I continue working on my overthinking. Huge thank you to the author for such an incredible book!
AUDIOBOOK
This book focused on the principle of Ubuntu - “I Am Because We Are” and love conquers all.
It taught me how to love yourself, your posse, and the world. She is a Christian pastor and mentions scripture, but her focus is inclusive love. No matter what your faith is, we can all agree that we need more love in the world. I liked how this book was so relevant - it was released in the past few years and references the COVID shutdown, racial discrimination, and spiritual divide. This book encouraged me to reflect on my own religious beliefs - do I take the bible too literally, do I love first, do my actions reflect the self-less love of Jesus.
Overall, this book was good and I would recommend it. It emphasizes how love could solve all the injustice in the world. A very beautiful story.
I am hoping to read more books that share the struggles of racism, inequality, and injustice.
It was pretty good, the storyline had a few weird turns and be cautious of the trigger warnings, but overall, pretty good. Very similar to the 50 shades storyline, at least the first book, but Eva is much more of a spitfire than the 50 shades girl. Definitely continuing the series.

I really enjoyed this book as a quick summary on one man's journey toward enlightenment.
I was first drawn to this book by the title - I try to live my life 1% better everyday.
This book was like reading the private journal of the author- all his wins and losses on his journey, both professionally and in his meditation practices. I have recently taken an interest in enlightenment/meditation, but after not being able to finish a book by Eckhart Tolle I thought maybe it was all just a bunch of BS. This book rekindled my interest and hope in learning more on the subject.
The author works as a reporter for some major news channels and it was incredible hearing how he worked through major events in history and the world changing people he got to interview.
Overall, pretty good book if you are looking for spark notes on enlightenment and learning more on the power of meditation.
I couldn't put it down for the first 15 chapters, but the ending was rough. Similar to another book in this series, they break up because they refuse to talk about how they truly feel and they are assuming the emotions of the other. Super frustrating!!! Other than that, pretty good book.
AUDIOBOOK
I only got about 10% of the way through this book. It was too slow and drawn out for me. Nothing practical, just information. I was bored and couldn't get into it. I might try to listen to it again.
Not a huge fan, but also couldn't put it down. I didn't care for the way the book started or the way they avoided talking about their issues, but I love an egomaniac boss who falls for the sweet intern. Overall, pretty good book, not one I would recommend, but it was alright.
AUDIOBOOK
This book was incredible. Really opened my mind to new thinking. I am buying a physical copy to re-read very soon! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!!
There are parts of this story are really off/weird/disturbing, but I was already invested and I hate not finishing a book/series. Overall, pretty good story line, but I won't be continuing the series.
