10/10 Highly Recommend!
I love Dr. Joe Dispenza! What a great book with practical steps to change your mind. I love the detailed notes on meditation at the end. I need to buy a physical copy and re-read it! Such a good book!!!!

Great book on habits, highly recommend reading it after Atomic Habits. I feel like Atomic Habits was a great starter and this went deeper, in more depth on the same concepts. Tons of great examples to help remember the concepts.

I'd recommend this as a cute fantasy book with a good plot twist. I enjoyed their banter. It has a little action, but nothing actually scary. Not a great book, but pretty good.
E-BOOK
This book was fine, but I got about halfway and lost interest in the series. I'm ready for something happy and warm.

Great book on prayer!! I'm glad I have a physical copy of this to re-read and add notes. Such a great book on prayer and how to surround your life with prayer. Very practical and educational. I love the hopeful stories he shared throughout an appreciated him sharing his bucket list at the end. Highly recommend if you want to change your life through prayer.
Not bad, I started the series once before, but never finished the 3rd book so I am re-reading the whole series. Pretty good storyline so far.
Good storyline but waaaaaay too short - in length of book and in how quickly the characters meet and fall in love. They are engaged 3 days after meeting. I'm a hopeless romantic, but that's too quickly for me! I'm continuing the series because I love the original characters so much, but I'm very disappointed in how rushed this book felt.
Did not finish. Got about 50% before I decided I couldn't handle anymore. It could have been a great story, but it was terribly written - no character development, rushed storyline, and not well written scenes. And this book was written in 2020, but it's set in like the 90s and it was weird. Overall, I was very disappointed.
Overall - pretty good book with just enough drama, too much smut for my liking, but the story line was good. A few over the top moments and spins to the story, just enough to keep it interesting. Ends on a cliffhanger, but there's a second book so I'm hoping it continues nicely.
It was good. Nothing spectacular, not a must read, but it was cute. Too much talk of kids/family at the end for my personal preference.
Second one in this series. Pretty cute. Not as good as the first book. I didn't care for the storyline about the shooter chasing after Savannah, but other than that it was a great chick flick, happily ever romance book.
Pretty standard hate to love workplace romance. I wish there would have been more to the storyline, more development, but overall it was good.
stopped at 73% - I lost interest in reading for a couple of months and didn't finish this
I read this devotional with a small group of ladies from church after Havilah spoke at our annual Beautiful Women's Conference. She is a great speaker and I was told she was a great author, but this book was disappointing. Even ladies in our group who have read Havilah's other book “I Do Boundaries” said that she is a great author, but this devotional was lackluster. It was surface level. The blurb and the questions felt very basic and blah. I was hoping for more scripture inclusion and teaching. Overall I am blessed for the time spent with the group of ladies and the intimate stories we shared, I appreciate this book being the first to bring us together and I look forward to our next book. I would not recommend this book. There has to be something better out there that will challenge and encourage you more, this is too basic, you need more than basic!

Highly recommend if you're interested in learning more about self-discipline! Some parts are laughable (like his chapter on being more efficient at work - don't talk with your co-workers, arrive an hour early, work through your lunch, stay an hour late), but other chapters were super great with practical tips. Definitely going to need to read again and take notes.
Audiobook and e-book.
Very old book, but the lessons are relevant. Society is still struggling with similar issues, and the Word of God remains true. Some of his stories are boring and repetitive, but the nuggets of wisdom surrounding them are worth it.
AUDIOBOOK
Meh, I don't recommend this one. Easy read, but no substance. So unbelievable. There's no way he'd just forgive her and move her into his home. Not worth your time.
AUDIOBOOK
Do not recommend! It was cute, then dark, then they tried to make it cute again. Do not waste your time.
E-BOOK
Meh, it was OK, but I wouldn't recommend it. The storyline didn't feel developed, like this book was a story of 10 days. The mafia setting was a different read for me, eager to try another one in that trope.
It was fine for a quick read. Cute, basic story. A little dorky, but still cute.
Billionaire romances are typically with a dominant male lead. This one throws those gender norms out the window.
Caroline is neurodivergent and comes into a large sum of money after her grandmother's death. She's looking for happiness. She finds Adrian and he's a broke artist. They have some fun and it's cute. The ending was a little different, felt like it ended mid-story. Maybe this is in a series that I didn't notice.
Nothing too exciting, and no major storyline to follow. Good, easy, quick, heartwarming read.

Absolutely incredible!!! Holy Guacamole! I highly recommend every Christian read this. This book breaks down what fearing the Lord means and how we practically walk that out. The author backs up his opinion with scripture, encouraging you to read and make your interpretation. I'm so thankful I order a physical copy to re-read and take notes. Very impactful!

Some really good points on overcoming procrastination and anxiety associated with large, intimidating tasks. He also had some sections that were no longer relevant (like trying to be disconnected in our current world) and some off putting comments (like be more productive by coming to work earlier, staying later, not talking with coworkers).
Overall, good read and would reccomend to those that struggle getting started when the task seems intimidating.
