Very keen on reading the next two books currently available in this series. The story keeps its pace and the descriptions are very detailed and keeps the theme of the Mass Effect games perfectly.
Really liked the writer's sense of humour. The books are a little hard to follow once or twice, but I found them all very enjoyable.
Loved the pace of the book. A tad hard to follow at times, but the story itself more than makes up for that. A must-read for Mass Effect fans.
Completely different from what I expected. Such a short book, but such a profound view of what makes us human.
Liked the pace of the story and the bits of history tweaked to a more interesting alternative.
Simultaneously tells the story from the viewpoint of multiple people without it being confusing and keeps the pace well throughout the whole book!
Really liked this. After the quality reads of James SA Corey, this felt familiar and somehow grounded in scientific fact. Nothing felt too weird to break the world the book builds.
I was pleased to learn more about the Stig and what he did outside of Top Gear. The ending was a bit unsatisfying as I wanted to know more about why he left and how it went down. I loved the behind-the-scenes parts from Top Gear and getting the point of view I would never have imagined.
This was by far the best one of the series. Very satisfying read and all the twists and surprises you can handle!
The narrative keeps you guessing what is going to happen next while the interspersed stories shed some much needed light on the characters and their circumstances.
Shivers down your spine all through the book.
Simply an amazing book and truly makes you see everything from the character's perspective. I was very moved by it.
Really fills out the lore gaps you feel you had. Very entertaining style of writing. I enjoyed it.
A great “what if” book that explores the possibility of millions of parallel earths and their challenges for the datum (original) earth.
I really liked the book, but the rhythm was often broken by vast explanations of related symbols, locations and artifacts not essential to the story.
