Loved these. It's always amazing to me how many level Sir Terry can write on at the same time. On the face of it, it's a Borrowers like trilogy that kids will love. And yet, there's all this commentary on society, religion etc that you catch if you're older. And some great moments of humor.

Meh. Least favorite Nix book with the exception of “Ragwitch” so far. It was ok. But I'm accustomed to much more than ok from Nix. Ah well. Can't love ‘em all.

Wonderful collection of classic Vance works. It was my first exposure to him and I'll be tracking more down.

Excellent new look at archeological data. Previous theories about the island and its inhabitants are seriously revised.
