Another thrill a minute ride from David Baldacci. Reminded me a lot of the Archer series which I also loved. Loved all the twists and turns and am keen to read further adventures of Travis Devine if and when they surface.
Another great Jane Tennison novel. As well as the individual stories I am really enjoying watching Jane grow as she battles her way through a male dominated profession in a time where women's rights and opportunities were even worse than they are today.
A most enjoyable read. While I enjoyed the first half of the book, it was a bit of a slow burn but the second was definitely a typical fast paced Bond story with a great climax and satisfying ending.
I loved this, it was so much fun. It reminded me of Coraline, Monsters Inc. and A Nightmare before Christmas all rolled into one. A great middle grade read!
An enjoyable book of nonsense with beautiful illustrations. I can just imagine the fun children of the 19th Century would have had reading these silly limericks and their associated illustrations. A lot of nostalgic fun.
What a chilling suspenseful read! Loved it. I was on the edge of my seat through the last few chapters waiting to find out what happens. Really enjoyed how Levin was able to make you have feelings for so many the characters making you either love them or hate them.
A dark, satirical, thought provoking read. Had me hooked from start to end. Not quite as powerful as such classics as 1984 and Farenheit 451 but definitely worth a read in my opinion. Keen to watch the movie.
This book did not connect with me. I didn't enjoy the writing style and found it too slow. I was also extremely disappointed with the ending. Not for me at all.
A quick fun read. I didn't find it as entertaining as some of the other books in the series that I have read, but still a good read and I'll definitely continue to read more Goosebumps.
I loved this book! Stephen King really draws you into the story mad into the lives of the characters. What a roller coaster of a story, pun intended. I have really enjoyed all of King's Hard Case Crime novels but this one is definitely my favourite. Highly recommended.
An enjoyable read. While I really liked the story and the mysteries involved I found a few times the book slowed down and if it wasn't for these parts which I found contained unnecessary detail it would have been a 5 star read for me.
An enjoyable read. I found it a little slow and overly descriptive in the early parts of the book but I found the latter part much faster and enjoyed the ending.
An enjoyable read. A little slow at the start and a little convoluted but picked up pace nicely to a satisfying ending. I'll definitely continue reading more Rebus books.
