There seems to be quite a wide range of opinions about this short book. I actually really enjoyed it. I was interested from the start and this was maintained until the conclusion.

An enjoyable fast paced. Loved the Edinburg setting and John Rebus. Keen to read more of this series and see how the Rebus character develops.

Really enjoyed this. I was engaged right from the beginning and I was intrigued throughout and really enjoyed the ending. This is my second John Wyndham book and I am keen to read more.

Another entertaining read in the Jane Tennison series. I found it a little slow at the start and while the plot and outcome was as a bit predictable I still found a really entertaining read. I will definitely be continuing on with the series.

An enjoyable book. I really wanted to love this book but it didn't quite get there. It was funny in parts but I felt a lot of the jokes fell flat for me. I also thought Charlie would be a character I would love but while I liked Charlie I didn't care strongly enough about him. I will probably try another Christopher Moore book to see if this is just a one off, as the premises of his books really interest me.

Loved it! Not normally a type of book I read but definitely glad I did. Backman creates great characters and I really cared what happened to them. The story moved at a good pace keeping me engaged and I was very satisfied with the ending. Highly recommended.

This was my first Louis L'amour book and I really enjoyed it. A fairly straightforward plot but full of action and very fast paced. A great, relaxing quick read of a typical Western story. Recommended.

A great Goosebumps story! This is now my favourite of the 3 Night of the Living Dummy stories I have read. The last quarter of this is a thrilling roller coaster ride. Highly recommended to all Slappy fans.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first Night of the Living Dummy book, as I found a lot of the book very similar to the previous book. That being said I did really enjoy the ending of this one and I will definitely being reading Night of the Living Dummy 3.

Wow! I'd heard this book was good and I wasn't disappointed. A real page turner that had me on the edge of my seat as it drew to the end. Highly recommended. Will definitely be reading some more Patricia Cornwell books.
