Loved it! This is my second John Scalzi book and like Redshirts, I totally loved it. Great characters and great SF. I will definitely be continuing with the series.

A most enjoyable read with some great short stories and novelettes. The only reason I gave it four stars is that I prefer these tales as full novels. I loved The Maltese Falcon and I am keen to read Hammett's other novels.

An OK read. While I normally love these types of stories, this one left me a little flat. There was a bit too much smut for my liking and I just didn't find the story that compelling. I really enjoyed the other Block novel I read so I probably will give this author another go.

Totally loved it. I expected humour and I got it, what I didn't expect was an enthralling plot which had me invested to the end and to top it all off a surprising and pleasing twist at the end. Highly recommended. I am definitely going to read more John Scalzi novels.

An interesting read. I loved American Psycho and I felt the similarities in style but I didn't find it quite as good, possibly both due to the subject matter and the fact that it was his first novel. Keen to read more of his work.

I've read and enjoyed a large number of the Cliff Hardy novels but I had never read the first book in the series. Now I have and it didn't disappoint. Both Cliff and the author seemed a bit rough in patches but this was definitely a classic Cliff Hardy novel that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was fast paced and suspenseful to the very last page.

Stephen King is a master storyteller. Loved the story of Blockade Billy. It had me hooked from start to finish. The bonus story “Morality” was also enjoyable but I didn't find it as good as Blockade Billy.

Another great Sid Halley adventure! Totally enjoyed it from start to finish. Highly recommended.

A very different but still very enjoyable story from Felix Francis. Had all the normal horse racing elements but the story is very different from the usual mystery found in Felix's books. Despite being very different than what I expected I still really enjoyed it.

After really enjoying A Rage in Harlem I was keen to continue the series. I was not disappointed! I enjoyed The Real Cool Killers even more! A real page turner.

Loved it! A horror story that doesn't take itself too seriously. It was emotional, suspenseful and darkly funny in parts. Enjoyed it and keen to read the other Grady Hendrix books I own.

An enjoyable read with some very funny moments and some interesting plot twists. While I enjoyed reading this novel I struggled to become fully invested in the main protagonist or the mystery and so found it a bit of a slow read.
