A gripping, horrific novel full of gore that is shocking from start to end. Highly recommended.

An exciting and tense read with some great twists and turns with an ending I found very satisfying. Highly recommended.

Loved it! I have been wanting to read a Taylor Jenkins Reid book for a while but couldn't get excited about Malibu Rising or Daisy Jones and the Six but after reading the first few pages of Carrie Soto I was hooked. I loved the drama, the emotion and the whole ride with Carrie. Highly recommended.

A great follow up to Jurassic Park. I liked this almost as much as the original. Really enjoyed the numerous Ian Malcolm theories and explanations. Highly recommended.

Fantastic! Loved it from start to end. Great science and great tension. A real page turner!

A chilling and unsettling read. This is my second Ira Levin novel and I enjoyed this as much as Rosemary's Baby. A quick read but extremely thought provoking. Highly recommended.

An enjoyable read. Certainly a bit of a slow burner with a lot of philosophy of government and war which I found interesting.

A fun read. Some interesting science fiction mixed with a touching story, a winning combination in my book. Keen to read more Heinlein.

An interesting read, especially with regard to the background writing it. Bloch's great storytelling makes it a quick read but overall I found it a little weak but Bloch redeemed himself with a great ending that pushed it from a 3 star read to a 4 star read.

An enjoyable read. It took me a little while to really get into it but after that it was a real page turner with a satisfying conclusion. I look forward to reading more of Fletch's adventures.

I read this immediately after watching the movie. It was an enjoyable read giving the backstory of some of the major characters in the movie. Being a junior novel it was much milder than the movie.

Another fun Asterix story. I still love these stories, they are funny and fast paced with interesting plots. Highly recommended.

A great read. It was interesting following such an anti-hero protagonist who was some how likeable. Keen to read more Quarry books.

A fun book and a bit different to other Peanuts books. Enjoyable but not one of my favourite Peanuts books.

Another enjoyable read. A bit slow in parts but overall a fun read. Felt it operated on a few levels which I really enjoyed. I will definitely read more by this author.

What a page turner! Loved it from start to finish. Loved the location, loved the period, loved the twists and turns and loved Stone! I will definitely be reading more Stone Barrington novels. Highly recommended.

A quick fast paced read. While I still enjoyed the ride it was not one of my favourite Bookshots books. While I thought the plot was good with some interesting twists I found the writing a little bland which took away some of the suspense for me.

This was a gritty and dark crime story from Westlake, a lot darker than the previous Westlake book that I have read. I was enthralled by the story and couldn't put it down until I had finished it. Highly recommended.

An enjoyable suspenseful story. While I enjoyed the story I found Peter Temple's style a bit cryptic at times, requiring me to re-read a number of sections. Similarly, I was confused a few times with some of the family members and this detracted from my enjoyment of the novel.

Another fantastic Goosebumps tale. This one was definitely one of my favourites with some great suspense in the early and middle parts of the book and then a satisfying ending.

A disturbing read. A sort of coming of age story set amongst a backdrop of individuals with unusual pasts that have profoundly affected them. A compelling read with a surprising (for me) ending.

An enjoyable read. Very dated but I found it easy to see why the Carter Brown were so popular at the time they were written.

Another great Stephen King story. I really felt his portrayal of Trisha was spot on. It felt real and you really understand her feelings, actions and emotional state throughout her ordeal. Highlight recommended.

What a fun and original story! Totally loved it. Keen to read more Stark Holborn as I really enjoyed this entree into her work.
