Informational in a way that is easy to read and understand that doesn't overload you with tons of information in a complicated way. Rather easy and quick to get through.
Certain chapters were decent and relatively informative though I found that this book in general focused too much on science or the theory of evolution which did not appeal to me at all.
Beautiful, so sweet, adore both Nick and Charlie, left me feeling giddy with happiness.
A little life is messed up and incredibly unrealistic placing the main character through every bad thing imaginable, this book prives on others pain, almost as if written for no other purpose but to utterly destroy you, leaving you filled with nothing but bad memories and feelings in the worst possible way, no one could possibly genuinely enjoy this book, I don't understand why it has such high ratings when it's only purpose is to cause pain.
Their is nothing i liked about this book, i wasn't at all interested in Caroline's story, i hated her character, found she didn't at all have a moral compass, and was rather selfish, couldn't really find anything good about her personality at all, other than what she did for her job, her relationship with Paul also just went on and on, i couldn't find anything good about their relationship that made it memorable, second the structure of the book was awful, large parts were skipped, and several important events were glossed over, Lastly any parts doing with injury/self harm, were poorly portrayed, Kasia, Herta, and Caroline's stories were all bland and forgettable. Herta didn't really have a moral compass, Kasia even though somewhat better than the other two was particularly annoying at times, her relationship also incredibly forgettable, no character development at all. The second part of the story was somewhat good, though the first and last part of the story were awful, rather forgettable, not much of a plot. A true story based on a historical event with real people would usually have me intrigued, but i couldn't find any reason to love the characters or their story, the characterization was awful, most of the plot forgettable, not at all engaging. I was expecting a great book due to the high ratings, but it was boring, bland, and forgettable.
The only thing in this book that i can say was somewhat well written are the political system and the portrayal of manipulation. This book 1984 by George Orwell however, lacked character development, plot development, any world building/structure, the romantic relationship presented lacked any development/wasn't memorable. Lastly the last chapter of the second part of this book just went on and on for no important reason, their wasn't much of a reason why that chapter needed to be that long, as most parts could've easily been cut out/weren't needed. One of the worst books I've ever read.
