This book was interesting. More of a thinking book than a story book. Listening to it as an audiobook, there was lots of spooky atmospheric sounds. I wonder if I would think it a vaguely scary book if I just read it instead.

This book is amazing. One of my favorites I've read in years. The author created such a cool world and I enjoyed that the story is told through a single character pov

I liked the story, world and characters of this book a ton. But chapters average to less than five pages. It becomes so stilted. Just two thoughts then a break repeated over and over again.

I generally liked this book. The main character is a bit of a jerk, but that feels intentional. The misogyny is really what hurt the book for me. Lots of scenes of the main character being a creep.

This describes a dystopian nightmare, magical adults being killed, or magical children being ripped from their parents. It seems to joyously describe a fantasy version of residential schools in Canada, fairly uncritically. Or at least, minimize the harm done by this system.

It's a fairly straightforward fantasy/scifi novel. Fun story, fairly interesting characters. Would recommend.

Good self help book. More tactical than many others. Quick read, doesn't repeat itself too much. Follows a good form of introducing a rule and then supporting it with examples and counter factuals to support that rule.

An interesting look into Batman and the Joker that makes both characters better. Also makes the second new Batman Movie even cooler.

Interesting take on Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and the Green Lantern.

A bit different from the original Dune, less adventure more philosophy. Still just great sci-fi

As good/better than the first two foundation books.

Reread this book recently. It's everything I really love about sci-fi. It asks some what-if questions and attempts to give a sort of answer. There really isn't anything better than that.

Technical, series of tips on writing django websites. Not useful as a starting place, but great as an intermediate book to get better.

Interesting book. Too long for how many interesting ideas it had. There two or three sections that might be cut or reduced without effecting the quality of the book.

Perhaps even better than the first book in the series. Interesting to read.
