150 pages of this book had me absolutely gripped. The beer game was fantastic and the description of the archetypes can immediately be seen in action at work. However the rest of the book was a bit of a snoozer for me, happy to get it out of the way. Towards the end, I skipped pages often because it was just wasting my time.

Some good tips for helping your child develop their own mental resilience. Some of the ideas aren't aligned with other parenting books written by PhD's in a child-related field, e.g. How to talk to kids will listen. Regardless, there's lots of practical advice some of which I've already tried out on my 5 year old. It's a short read so it was time well-spent, but keep the context in mind - this wasn't written by someone with a specialization child psychology. I plan to adapt the concepts of the book into concepts from other parenting books.
