Don Crozier

A great read, I love the world that the author creates, from the Augies to the telepathic cats.

I really thought this book was outstanding. Starting out as an introduction to the Appalachian Trail, I enjoyed Bryson's mixture of hiking and trail lore with the right mix of humor. Later on, he introduces us to a lot of the history and geology of the region. very readable.

My parents and my 2 year old brother lived these stories in 1949 and 50. Wonderfully told story about a time of chaos.

A marvelous book. I loved it when I was young and read it to my kids.

Particle physics has always fascinated me and Lisa Randall has taught me more about that than I would have thought possible. But much more than that, but she explores elements of the history of physics and gave me a new way of looking at how we got to where we are today. Very timely too with the recent discovery of the Higgs Boson. I will be reading more from her.
