The dynamic between the new X-Force members are fleshed out in this volume especially Puck and Storm's chemistry with one another that is very very good, also Spiral learns to be a good member so it makes this volume interesting.
Please bring more spiral in the recent x-men comics
Not the best book of the Marvel Now! brand but it's one of the enjoyable one for me.
The return of Spiral is one of the best thing happen in this book (because she didn't appear in the Marvel Universe for a long time) and combine it with beautiful art by Ron Garney makes it more enjoyable to read even though the story is cheesy at times.
Still, for those who want to enjoy a superhero comic that is action packed and filled with lots of good humour you should give this book a try.
Cheers.
Sebenernya udah cukup lama gw mau buku ini dan fortunately gw bIsa baca serta menyelesaikan buku yang cukup banyak hypenya ini.
And let me tell you, the hype was right
Witty, Funny, Inspiring.
Mark Manson releases a book that can help people with some funny jokes and good insight about life that i personally agree with since many of his words are relatable to me and he done it in such a good way that he doesn't feel like teaching you anything.
That's the beauty of this book, to be truly who you are without putting yourself in a box
And also to learn how to don't care about people's word in a elegant way
A weak ending for the series but in the end it reveals a lot of things especially the history of Natasha Romanoff herself, still it's sad to see this series go and i hope it will live in other form of media such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Interesting Story ? ✔
Georgeous Artstyle ? ✔
Bucky Barnes and Frank Castle as a cameo? ✔✔✔
It is the final volume of a beloved and iconic Marvel comic series that they have ever build and honestly it's a bit sad to see that this series is going to an end but they did managed to make an ending for a masterpiece like this well-written and good to see. I will miss this series as much as i miss Black Widow and other good series of Marvel.
The earth is in danger and it's up to the Avengers to save the day with it's diverse teams being scattered around the world and turns out things are not what it seems to be.
A great start for this new series with a simple plot that is easy to follow, Hickman's writing skill is not one to be underestimated with and Caselli's art style makes this nook worth reading for casual and Avengers fans
I guess i can say this is the most artistic comic besides Thor The God Of Thunder by Jason Aaron that Marvel has ever made (at the time) and i personally like this book because the of it's artsy style and Tumblr-y feel. With the interesting premise of what does Natasha Romanoff do when she's not in the Avengers and all that super hero stuff, this book is a good read for those who are fans of Black Widow or people who wants to be prepared for her MCU debut.
Even though it can't be a bit boring with the teenage drama and romance in the story but it is still enjoyable to read and i like this volume. Noh-Varr ego is surely increasing from issue to issue, overall it was a good book to read.
This book is magical.
Paulo Coelho managed to create a charming tale about how everything is not impossible as long as we believe and try to achieve it.
Must read!
The second and final part of the Godbomb arc, this volume brought many things in the table that were so exciting and so fresh for this series. Thor, King Thor and Young Thor fighting Gorr and tries to stop his plan to rule the world is exactly interesting to follow and with the art of Esad Ribic this book is definitely a must read
One of the stylish and hip books of Marvel Now!, this version of Young Avengers certainly bring the right things to the table with the cast like Kid Loki and the awesome Noh-Varr in the mix. With the story that is relatable in the first volume (parents and all that stuff), it's certainly a great start for this series and makes it one of my personal favorite.
An interesting take on George Orwell's Animal Farm with the Fables main cast as the characters who are in oppression and Fabletown as it's oppressor and with the good artstyle this volume is definitely worth to read even though you never read the original book.
The continuation of the acclaimed Extremis storyline written by Warren Ellis is actually as good as the original story itself. It delivers a fun and action packed story that is accompanied with some clever comedy, such as the joke about the stealth suit.
For the art, i think it's interesting and unique because some of the armor and chrarcter model is actually based on the movie (photo-tracing, some of them is good and some are bad) and i think the only thing that is build from the scratch is the Deep Space Armor that Tony used at the end of the issue.
Overall, this is a fun book to read and with some eye-catching visuals you will never get bored to read it
A continuation from the Hawkeye series written by Matt Fraction and it's seriously seriously seriously seriously good. The story getting deeper and more personal with lots of humor and cameos from other Avenger members (shout-out to Iron-Man, Wolvie and Spidey) and that's what makes it worth to read.
David Aja's art in this book is worth to look for because of it's minimalistic style that can be stylish at times (simplicity ftw) and also accompanied by Matt's Hollingsworth minimalist color palette makes it a must read.
What will happen if an evil supervillain takes over the body of a superhero and tries to become a superhero himself?
This book is based on that premise which is innovative for the comic book industry (at that time) and Marvel delivers it with some good storytelling by Dan Slott and gorgerous art by Humberto Ramos that makes it fun to read.
Some of the story in this book are not bad like the story about Logan joining the great war and when he is into the mob business with Creed becoming a mob working for capone (His mob costume is very cool IMO) and the others i didn't think they are as interesting as this two stories.
Overall it's a mixed bag but i still enjoyed it.
For the second volume of this awesome series, this is not quite good as the first one.
For the story itself is quite good but for the Fantomex arc is really confusing for me, because i thought that it's a full romance story with a bit of action on the side and turns out it was more than that by making a villain (Weapon XIII) appear out of nowhere.
Still, it's very refreshing to see more side of Psylock being fleshed out in the arc and the appearance of Fantomelle (I've been waiting for her to show up with Spiral in Vol.1) kicking ass is a nice thing to see and also the good artwork by Adrian Alphona makes the book enjoyable to read.
