Although I don't agree with everything the author explains in this book, she makes such good points about work, love and brain + body on which we, in our early twenties, must put some more attention in order to make the most out of life. Planning is somehow beneficial, but life is not always predictable (as the pandemic has already taught us).
Moreover, taking action and putting in some work is super important so as to reach our goals in life. Nothing falls from the sky for you, you gotta work for it.
Overall, I think it is a great and inspiring book to read in your twenties. I enjoyed it quite a lot because the author illustrates it with real cases and experiences, as well as with other sociologists and psychologists' studies.
got really attached to the main character Kya, and her life experiences. this is such a good book.
This was soooo fun! Some books from this genre are a bit too fanciful and cheesy for me, but this one was not at all like that. It was really fun, and had the right amount of cheesiness. I daresay that this is one of the best enemies to lovers novels out there.
dnf. muchas de las ideas que presenta la autora son interesantes, otras no las comparto tanto. overall ok
I feel like this book leads you in a very specific direction to make you truly believe the whole thing and then, by half of the story, its meaning totally changes and starts to get really exciting. I wasn't loving it at first but I think it gets quite thrilling towards the end.
This is the most accurate - and extreme - representation of a marriage gone wrong. Also, one of the main characters of this book is pretty strong, which I loved.
Film is pretty good as well, it sticks completely to the story from the book.
