Fast-paced, entertaining read. It wasn't an earth-shattering ending, but still really satisfying. Overall really good.
A super quick one! I read this in one day. It wasn't anything spectacular, but a solid thriller.
Wasn't quite as twisty or scary as I was anticipating, but I loved the ending. It really made the whole book for me. I also quite liked the narrator. All in all a pretty solid read.
Really enjoyed this mystery - the characters were well-developed and relatable. Well written and a nice twist!
This book was rough in a good way. I was initially put off by the characters, thinking I wouldn't be able to get into them. I was wrong. It was well done - even the violence.
Folks like to talk about revenge like it's a righteous thing, but it's just hate in a nicer suit.
A good father, a good man, loved the people that love his children.
A taut thriller that was incredibly well paced. I loved it! I loved how it didn't tie up neatly, I loved the twists along the way. This was a great read.
A really interesting, sweeping book! I did skim in some parts where it lagged a bit, but overall I enjoyed it and each of the plotlines. I was very invested in how it would play out.
It took me a little bit to get into this book, but I really enjoyed it. I liked all of the storylines and felt that the conclusion was satisfying and beautiful. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is that the pacing was just a bit off for me.
I loved this book. The writing was beautiful, transformative. The characters were well-developed. The big reveal at the end was a stretch of the imagination a bit, but I was happy to go along. Loved it!
No matter where you go, there are cracks in the plaster, nails coming loose, you just have to decide where you want to piece yourself back together. Where the ground feels sturdiest beneath your feet.

It may be because I was just coming off of a really slow book, but I jumped right into this and read it in one sitting. I loved it. I thought it was innovative and clever, and I enjoyed very much the way it played out. Really happy with this read!

This was a very well-written portrayal of early motherhood. I was captivated by the story and rooting for the mother the whole time. Really well done.
This felt like a really good lifetime movie. I felt for Hannah so much, and couldn't believe Christopher's blindness. A good mix of character and plot. A solid read!
I love Reid's writing so much. It's so easy to be transported into the time period of the book. I loved every part of this!
Great read! I had my suspicions about how it would end, and I was right about pieces but I didn't guess it all. The whole ending was well done.
A twisty, quick read. Kept my attention and kept me wondering how it would resolve. I enjoyed it.
Nothing is more terrifying than a villain who sees himself as a hero.
Slow at times, but I enjoyed it. I did figure out the end. Entertaining but nothing great.
This book just didn't do it for me. It was overly complicated, confusing, and not enough happened to keep me interested. I had about 100 pages to go and I ended up just skipping to the end because I was so frustrated (and I never do that). It had a really interesting premise, and a lot of promise, but it ended up falling flat for me.
Was a little long, but overall enjoyable. I wish they had more resolution to Evie's story.
Fast-paced, engaging mystery! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I thought the big reveal was a bit complicated, but overall I really had fun reading this.
Not enough plot. Some chapters went by quickly and were interesting, and others dragged. It was not consistently enjoyable. Overall just OK.
