The beginning part of this book was pretty boring. Nothing really started happening until 70% into the book. I had pretty much figured out what was going to happen by the end.
This book was trash. It absolutely did nothing for me. The main character was ridiculous. It was like reading a terrible Lifetime movie.
I loved the strength and development Harper showed as a character. I really enjoyed the story and the world building it has.
I would give this book a 0 if it were possible. The writing style of the author was horrendous. You should not be using ‘cuz' in a book, this is not a text message. The main character had no substance and the plot was ridiculous.
So cute! This book was very interesting because of the aspects of the two main characters coming from a cult. I loved the happily ever after ending too.
The ending of this book was ridiculous. I couldn't even believe the author tied up the loose ends the way they were. The main character has absolutely no idea where she came from and never gets any of her memories back. She has a strange relationship with a white stag, who she won't let the love interest kill. It was never fully explained at all.
This is one of the better romances I've read in a long time! I enjoyed the development of the characters and how pieces of their past came together as the book went on. The beginning kid the novel was definitely different from most romances I've read.
This book was a snooze fest. Slow burn doesn't even begin to cover it. Toward the end I started skimming pages because I was that not into the story.
This book was somewhat hard to follow due to the timeline and how it goes backward. I wanted to stop listening halfway through but I trudged on to finish. The ending way okay. It wasn't that unbelievable or that great of a reveal to the secrets of the past. Nicolette's cheating on Everett with her old boyfriend seemed like overkill, but it was made necessary to the plot which made it all worse.
Audiobook This book was alright. The main character got over a large problem with the guy, without much thought.
This book was okay. Very drawn out at times. There were some very beautifully emotional scenes that rugged at my heart though.
I thought this was an interesting graphic novel. The plot twist with the true origin of Emily the ghost was unexpected, yet I liked it. I thought Anya being proud of her culture at the end of the book made for nice character development.
This book made me feel very uncomfortable at times, due to the way the main character, Sydney, parents treat her and the close family friend. The romance was cute and predictable, as well. But the ending left much to be desired.
This book was alright. Not the worst romance book I've ever read. The premise was also interesting.
This was an okay “alien romance” novel. The main character began as a badass protector who didn't need a man, then promptly falls head over heels for Hunter (the alien). The world building was lacking. I found it rather hard to believe that this alien planet would have the same technology as us.
The main character was somewhat aggravating. Typical character with an ex fiancé and new love. The backstory was at least interesting.
This book was terrible. Insta-Love is an understatement. There was no character development from any character and both romances in the book were just thrown together haphazardly. Do not recommend.
There was so much potential for this book. The relationship was hastily thrown together with no real development for either side. Good concept that wasn't executed well.
This graphic novel was beautifully illustrated. The story, however, could have used more development. It was very predictable and somewhat confusing at times.
