Cinzia Tavernini

It is - undoubtedly - the #1 book on Negotiation, yet there's too much theory and too few practical, up-to-date examples in my opinion. I'd love to see an updated/revisited edition.

Finished my first Harry Potter book :)

This book was a little boring. The problem is that it's a mixture of non-fiction (facts about Denmark) and a novel (the story of a journalist moving to Denmark for a year), but none of the two is good enough. Facts and statistics are outdated (despite the “recent studies show” lines without any date indication) and the novel itself doesn't have any conflict or interesting plot, you can't emotionally connect with the main character (and her husband - whose name remains unknown: she calls him “Lego Man” and that in itself was, well... cringy.

Just plain boring from beginning to end.

Questi racconti sono molto enigmatici, Gogol' cerca sempre di analizzare situazioni e fatti andando oltre la realtà apparente e aggiungendo sempre un pizzico di pazzia e fantasia alla narrazione. I personaggi sono tutti alla ricerca della propria identità come individui e nella società, ossessionati dalla necessità di avanzare di carriera per migliorare la propria situazione economica/sociale. Carini Il naso, Il cappotto e Memorie di un pazzo (quest'ultimo credo il mio preferito, secondo me rende benissimo l'idea della pazzia), e poi Prospettiva Nevskij mi ha affascinato molto all'inizio, però la narrazione in tutti i racconti risulta un po' troppo pesante, d'altra parte non sono mai stata una fan di racconti e storie brevi, preferisco i romanzi.
