I'm a little disturbed by how much I can relate to Raskolnikov's incessant inner dialogue.

Reread this and found it much more enjoyable the second time around.

Sad. Depressing. Eye opening. Accurate? I don't know. But it helped me think about things and as a result I've had some very good conversations with my husband and kids.

Fantastic in audiobook format. I really felt like he was telling me his story, and his impressions of celebrities are great.

Audiobook version. This was incredible. Scary as all heck. I'll never look at a clown without suspicion again.

Audio version. Great, suspenseful, fantastic narrating from both characters.

Really feel this book helped me appreciate Stephen King's writing.

Listened to the audiobook on a long drive. Wil Wheaton is fantastic narrating this futuristic tribute to the 1980s.

That this story is based on her real life is astonishing – talk about a survivor!

Listened to it on Audible. So wonderful to knit to. Old-school awesome.

Great book. Trask and I listened to the audio version on our drive to LA and it was funny and touching. This strikes me as one of the early books taking a frank look at the effects of hunting on wildlife and also exposing the government's sanction of it.

This book was crazy, but totally absorbing. Fictionalized history of polygamy in the mormon church and current polygamist sect intertwined together in a murder/mystery.

I loved this book and am dying for the sequel. Vampires, post-apocolyptic United States, supernatural powers, girls saving the world – too much good stuff all wrapped up in one book.

Listened to this audiobook last month while working on big knitting project. Hope Davis is excellent and really brings the story to life. Loved it.

I love thinking about our lives as “our story.” It has provoked a lot of thinking, even had me up in the middle of the night thinking about whether I am living a “good story.” Really hit the spot.

Long book, but I loved it.

2020: Audible version: amazingly done. Adding a star.I love this book.

I really enjoyed the second installment. In the end, I liked it more than the first, but I am hesitant to read the third. I don't want to ruin it.

Love the mix of history, race, class and science. Really shines a light on the ethics (or lack thereof) in medicine over time.

Fantastic to imagine this as the first true crime novel. The story is gripping – I had trouble putting it down.

A compelling read, full of history of the Mormon church and the fundamentalist/polygamist splinter that exists today. It was hard to put down!

It is a special book (just as the book jacket suggests). I found the chapters told from Little Bee's point of view to be my favorite. The underlying conflict is revealed slowly, but is devastating.
