Cute. Sometimes poignant. Predominantly enjoyable.

Didn't really think this was going to keep my attention but it eked by and I will be reading the third.

A little too references-made-into-a-narrative for my taste. 2.5 rounded up to 3 stars.

Not what I expected, not what I enjoy, and not interesting. A general disappointment for me, overall, due to the themes, the complete lack of realism, and even the vocabulary. Since it was so highly rated, I hoped for something more compelling.

I found the individual “case histories” interesting, but the ending felt anticlimactic. I suppose I am most interested in the Land girls's stories and Jackson's, so I may give the next in the series a shot.
