I was really hoping to enjoy this, but it's not really about jellyfish at all! Happy to see I'm not the only one who was rather bored with this one.

I liked this one the most out of the others in the series I've read so far. Still not used to those abrupt endings though :0

Wobbling between and 3 and 4 star. Beautiful writing and a rich story but painfully long at times.

I wanted to like this based on the premise, but it became very boring later on. Didn't find myself connecting with th characters... they were all a little exhausting in their own way. Oh well.

This is a 3.5 from me. I really liked the writing style but the book felt really long at parts, almost 3 stories smashed together. Interesting enough but wanted more character development.

Some stories were much better than others but it became repetitive towards the end and I just couldn't be bothered to finish it. It's been a while since I read any Palahniuk, but I feel like you need to be in a particular mood to enjoy his work.

It's not often I finish a book and say immediately to myself, “I can't wait to read this again.” I regret not reading this sooner! A new favourite for sure. I am encouraged to read other stories by Le Guin and especially the Hainish series. ♥️

Darn I don't think this resonated with me as much as it has for some other people. I'll put it on my re-read list and see if it's any better later on or something

Holy smokes, just read this. You won't be sorry. What an amazing read about an almost unbelievable tale.

A lot of ideas here but very messy and rushed. It seemed hokey at times and as there was no time for real character development, it was rather stale.

I think I would have enjoyed this more if I hadn't already known so much about this case. Definitely was helpful in filling in some gaps, and I feel a bit late to the party so to speak. Tough to read at times because I felt myself getting angry at the situation.

My favourite in the series so far! Very good character development and a real gem of detective fiction.

An amazing read! Thank you Felicia for sharing this with us <3
