I'm not a Twilight hater. Actually, I decided to pick up the book after watching the movie. But as people say “don't judge a book by its movie” I decided not to judge the book just because I didn't like the movie.
Unfortunately, the book didn't impress me... At all. I couldn't help but hate Bella. She's a character I can't relate or even understand. She falls in love so freakin' quickly! I couldn't find any reason for her obsession with Edward. Ok, no. I got it at first. You know, he does weird things and that's what has her intrigued, but then there are no more reasons! I'm sorry but she's just so dumb and her story is not interesting enough to follow.
Edward is... well, I still haven't figure out my feelings toward him. He's mysterious and I'd like to know more about his past. However, I'm not fully interested.
Actually, Alice is the only character I'd love to read about. Her story is captivating and she is so quirky and unique! I think she would have been a better protagonist than Bella. But too sad she's a secondary character.
In conclussion, nope, I didn't like this book. It was boring and dissapointing. I won't continue with this series because I have no reason to do it.
Update
I reread this book and enjoyed it even more than the first time. Reagan is one of my favorite characters, and I can't get enough of his sense of humor. I'm now, ready to read The Third Golem!
**
I worry every time I have to read the second book of a series, because they can be really good or extremely disappointing. In this case, it was definitely not what I expected. This book was mind-blowing!!
After reading ‘The Ghost Box', I thought I had a clear idea of what this series would be. However, I'm gladly surprised by the fact that there are more new elements in this book. It was pleasant to see how Reagan changed and madured during the story, but he's still himself, and that makes his point of view enjoyable to read.
This series has mystery, a lot of suspense, a captivating story, likeable characters, and incredible scenes. So, I highly recommend this ingenious work, and I'm really really looking forward for the next book!
I won this book through Goodreads and I thank to the author for providing me this copy. My review isn't influenced by this fact
Have you ever been watching a movie when it suddenly stops? That's what I felt with this book.
I really enjoyed the first book of this series, and I was more than happy to see Skylier's adventures once again. However, the ending caught me off my guard and I wasn't prepared for it.
As always, this story has a lot of surprises and it's so fast that you can't blink. I loved the new characters and how they interact with the others. Also, I'm glad that there are more and more mysteries to solve, so I hope to continue reading this series.
I enjoyed the story because even with all that action going on, you still can relate to the characters and follow their struggles.
If you're new, I recommend you to read [bc:Purenet 23976764 Purenet (The Sanction #1) H.J. Lawson https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1419092913s/23976764.jpg 43579099] first and then continue with the other books. Also, you can check [bc:War Kids 23301112 War Kids (War Kids, #1) H.J. -I received a book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion, which I did-
I was really hyped about this book. After reading the synopsis, I thought it was the perfect book for me. I was almost tired of reading a lot of romance and I wanted something that could freak me out. However, I'm really disappointed.
Even tough it's a really small book, I spend too much time trying to get in the story and I couldn't connect with it. I ended up bored and wondering if this book will ever end.
It doesn't mean that I hated it. It had its good parts, and that's what kept me from giving it one star. But it wasn't good enough at the end.
Still, I think that many people will like it, if their thing is historical and horror.
I won this book through GoodReads and I thank to the publisher for providing me this copy but this fact didn't influence the review.
I'm very slow at reading eBooks, but this one was so good that I didn't care it was an eBook.
I can't even explain this amazing book. I couldn't predict what was going to happen, even in the last page. I loved everything about this story, and I'm curious about the next adventure.
Now I'm going to take some time to fangirl with this book! :)
I can't say I finished this book because I think I'll read it again and again, until my drawnings get better.
This book is a great tool for those who want to learn to draw chibi and manga. It explains step by step every line you have to draw. Even if you don't like manga but you like to draw, I thinks this book is very helpful.
There are a lot of excercises and it makes you put your talent in action.
My only warning for those who want to buy this book, it's that it is for basic drawning. If you're looking for something more advanced, I recommend you to look up for others books of this same author.

Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favorite writers of all time, and now this series in kinda based on his stories... That's the only thing I need to know, I'm DEFINITELY reading this series!
PS: The second book is called [b:The Raven: A Coffey & Hill Novel|28637703|The Raven A Coffey & Hill Novel|Mike Nappa|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/book/50x75-a91bf249278a81aabab721ef782c4a74.png|48816315]. My inner nerd is happy!
I'm always looking for biographies of strong, independent, and smart women. So, finding this book was just what I needed.
This book has beautiful illustrations and a captivating narrative. It is also rich in details, and you can learn a lot about the world's history.
All the biographies presented here are truly inspiring and encouraging. I think everyone should read this book, and pass it to others. Furthermore, I'm looking forward to reading the next book by this author, because this one is really impressive.

To be fair: this is not a bad book. It isn't the best, but it's not the worst either.
My major problem was the main character. I really couldn't stand Sophie. I always love strong female characters. But Sophie was usually crying or being rescued by someone, and that's something that I hated about her. Also, I couldn't find any other characters that I could feel related to. Although, probably my favorite were Eva and Erick.
The plot wasn't amazing, but it kept me interested. Even when sometimes I wanted to skip some pages because I got bored.
Anyway, if you like romance and Paris, you probably will like this book.
Though I'm not an expert in comics, I think the story was a bit disorganized. I couldn't like any of the characters, not because of their weirdness, but because they didn't seem interesting enough to follow their stories.
The story in general was good, and had some twists that got me interested. The art was great! I liked the graphics and the vivid colors.
I'm not quite sure if I'll keep reading these series, but I'll definitely look for more DC Comics.
I won this book through GoodReads and I thank to the publisher for providing me this copy but this fact didn't influence the review.
I really liked the two previous books. Unfortunately, this book wasn't as great as those. I didn't like how the romance went, and I had to wait until the end to find out the truth about Juliette's grandmother. Also, the ending doesn't finish the stories of all the characters. So, I'm wondering if there's going to be another book.
