When I came across with this book, I only knew it was suspense. I didn't want to read anything else about it because it would spoil the fun. And, oh boy, I'm so glad I did!
This book has been a wild ride! I wasn't planning on reading it in one day, but I couldn't stop reading. This book is highly addictive, and you just can't allow yourself to make a pause.
I've never heard of this author, but I'm really glad I discovered his book. It has suspense and mystery, and likeable characters. The pace is extremely good and the twists are great. The ending was satisfactory, but it left me wondering if maybe this is the beginning of a series. If it is, I'm going to be more than happy to continue reading. If it isn't, I need more books by this author, please!!

I picked up this book without realizing it was the second in a series but however I really enjoyed it!
The entire novel is told in first person from the point of view of Howard Boward, a child who has to deal with all the problems that comes with being a genius. It tells how he cause chaos in the city without knowing it and how their days at school are practically a nightmare, because he is a victim of bullying. It also features his enemy-of-the-science, Gerald, who seems to have invented a robot that leaves everyone surprised. Since Gerald Howard not stand him win, decides to build a robot to overtake his rival.
When Howard talks about his problems, thoughts and occurrences, it makes a fun and comical way. I laughed with his anecdotes and the sarcastic and ironic way that he talks.
So for those who thought that the children's fiction was just for kids, I think it is wrong for adults can also enjoy; and in fact, I think if you are older, you'll understand more easily the sarcasm and logic.
It also has ingredients of science fiction, and because of robots and science, have a touch of suspense. Furthermore the end I found half satisfactory and half disappointing. Disappointing because I think Howard is a very cute character and, with his personality and his crazy ideas he'll have more adventures to live, so I guess there will be more books from him.

I'm trying to read more comics, graphic novels and basically anything with pictures in it. Sometimes it's kinda overwhelming for me to see a lot of pictures in just one page, but definitely I loved this book so much that I read it twice in the same day.
This book deals with some real sad situations but it is treated with humor. I found myself laughing out loud because it was really really sweet and funny. The characters were well developed and I couldn't resist but loving each one of them. Also, I loved the ghost. She was really nice and quirky until the end -which I liked a lot.
The art was incredible! I wish I could do some fan art for this book but I'm afraid my drawing is terrible... Anyway, I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a good story with beautiful illustrations. Please, READ IT!
I'm glad this author has more books and I'm definitely checking them out! I have the feeling that I have a new favorite author! :)

This book is not bad, but it isn't amazing either. Actually, it was “just ok”, and that's why I gave it two stars. Erica Sparks was an interesting character, and despite she was fierce and strong, I couldn't connect with her. I had a fun time reading this book, but I'm not intrigued enough to continue this series.
This book is difficult to rate. I had a hard time trying to connect with Sophie. She was not a very relatable character, and that was the reason I wanted to stop reading. Also, the pace was very slow at the beginning, but at the 80%, the story became surprisingly good. I had my theories about the villain, but the book surprised me with a complicated turn of events.
This book caught my attention because it sounded a lot like fiction, but I wasn't sure what to expect.
I don't deny this book is intriguing. Actually, I had to re-read it several times because it was captivating and very impressive. My only problem is that sometimes it was way too unbelievable. I started reading with an open mind, and I really wanted to discover and learn more about the secret messages in the Bible. However, in some parts this book was more fictional than real.
The publisher announced that this book is going to be a film. I'm not sure if it'll be a documentary or a movie, but it'll be interest to watch.
I'm still not sure if I believe 100% what this book states, but I must admit it was a very good reading.

Until the last few pages, I was ready to give this book 4 stars. The pacing was good, the plot was captivating and intriguing, I liked the characters, but then... that twist in the story happened!!!
Seriously, this book is absolutely stunning! I can't believe the ending!! So, yeah, I'm probably overreacting because I just finished reading, but I can't help myself, this was such a good story and it deserves 5 stars.
I have high expectations for the the other books by this author!
This was such a delight!
I wasn't sure about what to expect from this book because I haven't read much from Dickens in the past. However, I was sure that I'd love the idea of reading short stories one at the time. So, I must say, that I really liked this books and most of the stories.
The narrative was exceptional and it made me feel the story. Despite the fact that Dickens is a classic author, I think his writing is brilliant and his stories too.
I encourage to all who are not very fond of classics to give this a try. You won't be repented!

This is one of those rare cases where I like the book and the movie, event though I saw the movie first.
I had my doubts about reading this because it's a best seller. It's not something bad, but sometimes best sellers are not as amazing as they look, so I took my precautions and I watched the movie first. I was more than pleased with the movie because I knew Gillian Flynn hersef had written the script, so I had to read the book too... And well, I have no regrets. Actually, if I could give it more stars, I will. This book is twisted, dark, brutally honest, and amazing.
Amy is my favorite villain ever, and I can't think of a better antagonist than Nick. The story captivated me in every page, and it was very very adictive.
The only thing I need now it's another Gillian Flynn book.

Of course, I have not finished this book because it is supposed to last one year. However, I think by far, I have enough experience to review this book.
This is my first experience with a journal for writers, and I was not sure about what to expect. At the beginning I thought it seemed OK, but as I continue using it, I discovered that it helped me to improve my writing and creativity.
This journal has some deep and insightful questions that make you really really think about your answers; therefore, it is definitely worth the time invested. I'm really glad I'll be able to do this for one year, and I hope to get another for the next year.

This year I've commited myself to read more fantasy, and this book has been the perfect choice! I heard a lot -a lot- about this book and I thought I might enjoy it, and I was absolutely right. It was very easy to enter in this new world, which is a huge surprise for me because I usually have this problem with this genre. However, the narrative is captivating and I couldn't keep my eyes off the book.
Despite the great story, what I liked the most about this book were the characters. They are so well constructed that they feel real. I loved the way that friendship was the center of the story, and how they faced all the troubles that came ahead.
Even though I'm not very sure about the romance, I still like this book very very much. In fact, I have high expectations for the next book, so I hope not to be disappointed.

Es difícil calificar este libro. Ha sido increíblemente lento en la primera parte, y hasta cierto punto me estaba aburriendo. Sin embargo, la segunda mitad ha sido cautivadora. La locura de Annie y la decadencia de Paul hicieron que la historia sea muy adictiva.
No me siento muy satisfecha con el final, pero tampoco puedo decir que hubiese querido tener un final del tipo “y vivieron felices por siempre”. No obstante, me ha dejado con una sensación un tanto agridulce.
