Better than the first volume in the series, which I rated 1/5, so this is 2 times better :)) still right on (and sometimes below) the mediocrity line. Nothing here I haven't read before (many times).

The first story is very, very good, the second (just) good.

The second story was just ok, but the first i did not like at all.

Too much space opera, too much politics, not enough milscifi.

The second story is very good, but with a weak ending. The first story honestly bored me.

The Stufflebeam story is good to very good, but fizzles out in the end. The KJ Parker was excellent and a huge surprise for me (I have already tried a novel of his and disliked it as a borefest). The other 2 stories are mediocre.

Both stories are very good, though the first one i found somewhat lacking (a proper ending). The second is perfect (even though not fantasy, but pure horror)

The first story was pretty good, the second really bad (amateurish)

Borh stories are well written, but too slow/dragged on, to my taste

First story very good, second not so much

First story 0/10 (terribly bad) second story 10/10 (charming)
