I was ready to give this a five star until the abrupt finish. I was really thrown off by the lack of resolution at the end. I know there's a sequel so I'm hoping that it'll pay off, but when the credits rolled on my audiobook, I had to scroll back cause I thought I'd missed something.

I really wanted to love this, but I had such a hard time keeping track of who the possible villain was, and the description of character choreography was so vague sometimes that I couldn't figure out who was doing what.

The prose is really juicy and descriptive, and I liked a lot of the characters, but I kept taking breaks from reading this because it just couldn't hook me. Took me months to finish.
