This one was cute! Less romance than I was expecting but I love a FMC that breaks the rules.

This book is so fun and silly. It doesn't take itself too seriously and really embodies ‘yes, and?'. I've also now picked up saying (internally ) ‘but i'm a fish, sob sob sob' and idk what that says about me

I feel like I'm not giving this series enough credit bc I keep reading it in the worst circumstances (fuck you hurricane beryl) but the ending hooked me so I'll give it 4 stars

This series has had way more political/war drama than I expected. I appreciate the time jump for off page character development and the insights we've gotten into the changing relationship between the MCs. Bonus points for the bird letter carriers and befriending a rat.

I don't think this book was intended to be so heart wrenching but it really ripped out my heart and served it on a platter. 10/10 no notes

This one was fun! I didn't see the killer coming. The dialogue was a little stilted though.

It was fine. I put it down a couple times and didn't have a strong desire to pick it back up again. Not my favorite of the series.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT'S WHERE THE BOOKS ENDS. It's been a long time since I've turned a page and screamed ‘what' at being the end of the book. Like really cutting off in the middle of a new scene like that, who DOES THAT. I was wondering how they were gonna make a 3rd volume and NOW I KNOW AND HAVE TO WAIT FOR AUGUST.

ALSO MY GUY JUST FUCKING DESTROYED THE WORLD, RIPPED HIS HEART OUT, HANDED IT TO THIS KID, AND THEN PEACED THE FUCK OUT. LIKE WHO DOES THAT. What fresh hell did he put Sen Wei through for FIVE THOUSAND YEARS just to save humanity?!

Ok there were definitely some grammatical issues with the translation BUT I am hooked

This book was not for me

This was cute and at times a little too relatable. The ‘stop we're miscommunicating scenes' were a little too on the nose at times, but I think I'll take it over the usual miscommunication trope

Wow there was a lot of past character trauma packed into this romcom that I was totally not prepared for and I'm not entirely convinced it was fleshed out fully. But the actual romance plotline was great

not my fave MXTX characters. The story about Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky in story was fun though

This was fun. A little historical fiction, a little mystery, a lot of fantasy, plus a fun narrator. Also loved the subtle Shakespeare references.

Honestly the best executed love interest dies at the end and comes back to life I've ever read. 10/10 no notes
