This book was dragging and also rushed at the same time. The actual “bad guy” was not intimidating at all and like many have been say was a Disney villain sort. The whole book felt like it was packed with lots of fillers to make it longer. But Evie was not as annoying as this one. But Jericho was done SO wrong in book three he was an ASSAULTER huh!? And the only way he could fix that was by becoming some sort of superhero! I'm not gonna even mention his half assed relationship that was thrown in for pity. Could have ended a lot better.
4.5 at some point it was just super dark and it felt like the author did it as a way to get a reaction out of reader. I kind of hate this book. pain.
I love this entire series with my whole heart. If you want a book that's character driven, has romance, with some history AND set in London this is for you. Read it its amazing omg.
Okay me again about a year later. I was scared I wouldn't like this series because of how many other books I have read and have loved so much. But this still remains a favorite. I see it's flaws but love it despite them. These are characters that I genuinely think about all the time and adore. Still a 5/5.
I gave the first two books five stars but this one just did not get me as excited as the other two. I just think it could've done better. But I have to give it a four because I love these characters so much
BRUH this was so good. I do feel unbelievably empty and have no idea what to do with myself. That's what I call a good book. James and coredelia plzzz get your shit together bye
Oh. My. God. I loveddd this book but also hated it for the pain it caused me. One of my favorite things about this books is the dynamic of the group of friends. Also I LOVE Cordelia I find like a lot of protagonists are really whiny and I find most of them annoying but I really Cordelia she a BAD B. I despise Grace and her mother I will not explain further. What I did want more of in this was POV from the rest of the merry thieves. Okay now I can talk about James and Cordelia oh god why? Why!? WHY?! Why must CC always hurt us with the romance. Also Matthew has feeling for Cordelia?? No no I REFUSE to have another love triangle that will rip me apart like will Jem and Tessa. EVERYTIME they were mentioned or talked about it I cried. Looking forward to the rest of this series.
After rereading this book is so good. Still every time Jem, Will, or Tessa was mentioned I cried.
Third time reading and it still doesn't get old. I love these characters more and more each read. And yes I still cry every time Jem, Will, or Tessa was mentioned. God I LOVE THESE CHARCTWRS AHHHH
I love this book. It made me so emotional and I love the characters. This is definitely now one of my favorite books ever. Read this book. It's heartbreaking but so amazing.
Definitely the best dystopian novel I've ever read. But you are definitely left wanting more from the characters and the world building. There is about a chapter describing the cultural shift but wish there was more to it. But still a great book.
I think this book was all over the place, I still don't know what the point of the book was. Like what?
