Alas not one of Christie's best that's for sure, maybe be due to the big age she was at when she wrote this book. The overall mystery was largely quite predictable and most of the novel consisted of Ariadne Oliver rambling on about various things that had no relation to the investigation what so ever. Although, Poirot moments made the book overall redeemable.
2/5 - I feel like I did not read the same book as everyone else. I found Fingersmith to be far too long, overly descriptive and repetitive. Part 2 being a complete repeat of the events of Part 1 just from a different POV felt completely unnecessary and really didn't add anything imo. However, I did enjoy the unique premise of the book just wish it was better executed.
4/5 - The second instalment of the Wallflower Series was a rather delightful read, with there being great chemistry between the main love interests.
5/5 - Jennette McCurdy gives a really raw and brutally honest account of her childhood on how she was exploited and abused from a young age, and the lasting effects this had on her going into adulthood.
Growing up I was a fan of iCarly and found it unsettling to think this was all going on in the background whilst everyone else was so painfully oblivous to what was going on. Makes me wonder if things in Hollywood have changed for child actors now?
I tend to air on the side of caution with books that are very hyped up but this was definitely worth reading, JM is clearly a very talented writer!
