Always fun to re-read a “classic.” Students enjoyed it, but some were frustrated at the abrupt ending.

A friend of mine gave me this book to give to another friend of ours, but I decided to read it before I pass it along. I think it's an important topic to focus on, as it's so prevalent in our society. With a strong focus on God, this book helped to direct thoughts to where they should be.

A good romp into the Doctor's world, but it wasn't the most exciting or thrilling thing I've read. Don't get me wrong, I liked it. There were sparkles of what made me love Rose and the Doctor so much, but they weren't bright throughout the story.

Read this book if you like: Science-fiction, memory loss, self-discovery

I found the narrative style a little distracting at the beginning but learned that it was appropriate for the main character.

Interesting read. (Also, easy enough for me to finish in 90 minutes or so.)

I saw parts of myself in nearly every character in this book.

Parts of the story were very difficult to digest because of how it connected to things in my own life and my struggles.

I am grateful for people who truly see you.

The people we remember are never truly gone.

This was freaky, and I liked it! I wasn't quite sure what to think of it at first, but by the time things started getting interesting, it was hard to put down.

We had a workshop on this during our In-service; it was enlightening to see how our team works together!

Mildred Harnack (the cousin-in-law of Dietrich Bonhoeffer) is an American woman living in Berlin as World War 2 begins. This book brings together all the facts that remain about her life and her resistance activity. Well worth your time!

Didn't completely enthrall me like some books have recently, but I enjoyed it. Like a friend said, if you pay attention to details, you may figure it out before the end. Realistic fiction plus a twist of sci-fi/fantasy.

This book is oh so good.

The author describes it as Nancy Drew-like, and I love it.

Mystery. Scandal. Crime. Romance.

And a healthy dose of learning more about indigenous people.

I didn't think it was as good as the stories that were focused on Tally, but I enjoyed it.

This was an entertaining graphic novel with a very bleak ending.

Many many good things to remember about ministry and working in a church.

This book was up my alley.
A little bit of magic (maz), a little bit of late-teen will they/won't they angst, a little mystery, and a futuristic setting that had me wondering how large the cities in this world really were.

My only issue was that the ending tied up a little too neatly.

I can imagine my Swedish (and German) grandmothers narrating this book, and for me, that is quite the compliment. It's not a how-to. It's a matter-of-fact, simple “why” on making sure that you don't leave a huge burden on the people you leave behind.

This book was just as great as [book:Alcatraz Versus The Evil Librarians] Brandon Sanderson... I mean... Alcatraz Smedry has done it again. This book was just as funny if not more. I love how the beginning of each chapter addresses the reader and talks to them. Must must suggest this one!

This is my favorite Dean Koontz book.

This book was decent for a novel based on an established TV series. The plot seemed to slowly climb to a climax and then suddenly drop as the turn was revealed. I would have appreciated more resolution. Overall, it was okay.
