But why was the chapter about sexual problems so centered around men?

Для мене все закінчилось на 316 сторніці. Я не розумію навіщо я це читаю. Це довго, занудно, і геть не те що я очікувала. Історія з падінням літака і виживанням тут настільки другорядна, що другоряднішої немає.
Взагалі вся книга (ну ок, 316 сторінок, які я витримала) нагадала якийсь депресивний руснявий фільм, де все закінчиться тим що вип'ють горілки і подивлять з убогого вікна на своє убоге середовище і на тому все кінчиться.
Якщо сам автор називає це своєю найкращою книжкою, то я рада, що в мене немає більше його книжок. І навряд будуть.

Я розумію, що автор тут всім чим тільки міг намагався показати огидність людей. Але це дуже сумно, коли на їх фоні в книжці аж якийсь хороший росіянин появляється.
Там ще українка є, але вона тільки ридає, тому про неї сказати нічого.

І десь таки треба було писати попередження, що присутні сцени жорстокого поводження з собаками. “Велике дякую” за те, що добили мою і так розбиту психіку.

П.С. На фоні цього опис фмериканського футболу на 30 сторінок вже не такий і поганий, правда?

Of all Sally Rooney's books I've read, I liked this one least of all.
Funny how it is the only one with a semblance of happy ending for all characters.

That was a really great book for me, especially concidering my love-to-hate relationship with the bachelor show.

Love it and don't care for anything else.

One of the most boring books I've read in my life. The only good thing about it is that it is short.

This exactly is why I love reading fantasy and science fiction. Seeing and experiencing all those ideas what our world can look like is just incomparable. It is so exciting to ask myself what will I do in this situations. And I'm very grateful for Recursion, that it reminded me about that.

I am still in awe of this idea where we don't have a main character.

I'm not a big fun of Daisy, but overall it was a cute middlegrade mystery.

More like a 3.5 star. That was fun.

Дуже чудернадська книжка з ще дивнішим кінцем.

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish.

Мене трохи обманула обкладинка. Я прийшла з подорожами з собакою, а виявилось зовім не про те. Але й ладно.

Is it weird that my kind of the most favourite side character is Grom-Gil-Gorm? I can't help that he is funny. Sometimes.

Тут стільки всього намішано, що це аж кумедно, як серйозно цей чоловік сприймає свою компанію.

Ці частина поки моя улюблена зі всіх. Мені подобалась вся ця інформація про всесвіт фундацій. А ще, речення «я знаю де знаходиться Друга Фундація” вживалось так часто, що вже втратило якийсь зміст))

Я не так часто читаю про релігії, але інколи мене заносило в таку тему. Хоча здебільшого з дуже атеїстичного погляду.

Поки що це моя улюблена книга на цю тему. Мені подобається, що тут автор описав як позитивні сторони релігії (чомусь ж вона настільки вкоренилась в наше життя), так і те, що ж з нею не так. І ясно, що це з нами буде ще дуже і дуже довго.

So far it is my favorite of the series.

That was certainly very interesting, but all those scintific inserts were sometimes too scientific for me.

Here goes the worst book I've read this year.
Maybe I need to elaborate a bit. This book belongs to the pile of plays with cartoon characters. There was more plot in my childhood games (we also had competitions, concerts and relationships but with more thought out drama).

The first and foremost problem is the Relationship. Like how was it supposed to work? So they met, have some animosity between each other, they say something good to each other and next minute they are arguing and the man takes off. By the end on the month (which is like 9 chapters out of twenty something) they are in love for real, not just pretending. How? What? Whyy?
At some point mentions of their on-stage chemistry started making my eye twitch. And here I have the same questions. What chemistry? Show it to me. At least once. But no. There is only vague descriptions of how great they are on stage together and how they drive the people crazy. Tell you what - I didn't feel an ounce of that chemistry.

I have so many questions for the boyfriend. You don't want to anything like your father, but you literally choose the same career. And all your personality is “I don't want to be my father”? Thank god we will see that you are so much more. But the problem is that we don't see. This guy is irrational, not asking anything, just jumping to conclusions and running away.

They known each other for less than a months, then he ghosted her for eleven and a half months. His love's career kinda depended on him and he just left? What exactly did he left for? I so don't see what that girl has seen in him. From the moment she met him he gave her a bunch of promises and then literally did something else (like not proposing in the finale of their show how they both agreed to. He didn't even try to give her a heads up or explain afterwards why he didn't do it). And did I mention that he just left to spend 11 months in Canada not answering any calls or messages?
He even gets offended that the girl didn't tell him her grandmother died. YOU'VE GHOSTED HER FOR A YEAR! An here I don't even mention that they were contractually obligated to record an album together and make special song for some Christmas show. What love are we talking about here if he was going to leave her with a great financial debt if they didn't play their song? That how much he cared? That how much he loved her? Somehow that makes it hard for me to believe in their “chemistry”.

Я і головний герой всю книгу знаходились на різних швидкостях розуміння того, що відбувається. І на жаль, я зачасту була попереду.
