Book was unnecessarily long and I didn't like the fact that Amy had to go through heartbreak, abandonment, grieve and dealing with pregnancy alone just to prove Tom wasn't perfect. Was it really necessary?
The book wasn't realistic to me in anyway. Also, wasn't surprised with the plot twist, it was so predictable.
I don't just get the hype. It is an average romance book, not bad but also not great.
I've always enjoyed reading books related to the seven sins. I Had high expectations for this and was quite annoying that most demon sin effect on Emilia was linked to sex.
Lust: She has uncontrollable urge to have sex with Wrath
Greed: She is greedy to have sex with Wrath
Envy: She is envious of Wrath past lovers
Gluttony: She want a lot of touching and sex from Wrath
Wrath: An aphrodisiac.
It would have been cooler if Emilia had indulged in other Sinful acts apart from Sex.
2.5 stars... interesting but not captivating
I only enjoyed it whenever I picked it up but as soon as I closed it, I forgot about it. There was nothing pulling me back to read the book, I literally had to keep it by my bedside as a reminder that I was reading the book.
I enjoyed every single chapter. Although I predicted the twist early on and wasn't particularly wowed by it, the story was beautifully written regardless.
3.5 stars. The book was a captivating one. The story focuses on the character as well as the plot. Definitely didn't see the end coming.
What a beautiful ride. Couldn't drop the book, another lovely piece from James Patterson.
