Interesting to see an author explain why they made the choices they did and to defend their overall views on literature.

This book is trash. “How to be a parasitic douche” would be a much more fitting title.

Quick, breezy, written from a very high and generalizing point of view. Only slightly interesting.

Dated material. Better covered elsewhere at this point.

Depressing.
