Honestly I wish Marlee had been chosen. I love Marlee shes a sweetheart. Ughh America is a whiny foolllll soo freaking annoyingggg:( other than this I loved the book:)
This book is not at all how I thought it would be....let's just say tik tok over hyped it
I found out about this book from tiktok and seeing multiple people recommending it I decided to read it and I wasn't satisfied.
Overall the book was good just didn't reach my expectations.
The ending was a bit sad tho when she remembered everything and realized her friends were ghosts/spirits.
I relate to Cath on a whole other level coz i am a mega introvert and afraid to try out new stuff.
The only think i dont relate to is Levi, sadly theres no Levi in my life lol
[a:Kiera Cass 2987125 Kiera Cass https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1318605410p2/2987125.jpg] can you write a whole book from Maxon's pov please!! I really enjoyed reading this one!
“The finest of pleasures are always the unexpected ones.”The book was amazing. The writing was beautiful and it felt like reading one of those [a:Enid Blyton 10657 Enid Blyton https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1298204474p2/10657.jpg] circus books([b:The Circus of Adventure 17498 The Circus of Adventure (Adventure, #7) Enid Blyton https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1356138877l/17498.SY75.jpg 1572443],[b:Mr Galliano's Circus 1272176 Mr Galliano's Circus Enid Blyton https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1387738049l/1272176.SX50.jpg 1461042],[b:Come To The Circus! 461824 Come To The Circus! Okay thats it now i know FOR SURE that I will like/love anything Elle Kennedy writes!
OMG I just love being a part of this world and these characters. I cant wait to continue with the rest of the seriess.
Ps. if i had 3 wishes i would want to read my fav books all over again(off campus is included DUH)
The book was very short I think that as the series is nearing towards the end the books are getting shorter and shorter.
Not at all like the first 3 books which were exceptionally good..
I think this book is my fav from the entire series!!
Story was well written and the story kept me turning page after page wanting more...
This is one of the best books I have read in a while.....I was going give the book a 3 star rating at first but the book deserves much more...[a:Roxanne Rhaman 19717231 Roxanne Rhaman https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1573144504p2/19717231.jpg] wrote the book in such a way that makes you feel so warm and cozy on the inside. Also it felt so nice to read it after reading so many thrillers at a stretch.
Duplicity by Fin C Gray is a story which is told from the point of view of two individuals Tom and Daniel McIntyre who are father and son. It is told in different timelines, then and now (past and present) and we see how each thing they did in the past led to everything that was happening to them in the present.
The story is very character driven but what I liked most about it was that each and every part was described in such a way that I felt the tension, the suspense, I felt as if I was part of the story watching by the way I felt.
I felt that the writing style at first was quite boring but as the story progressed on it became much more intriguing and suspenseful. More than annoyed I was really shocked at what some of the characters did and stories about terrorism isn't something I read every day and it was definitely an eye opener for me.
However with every book there is the good as well as the bad and Duplicity was no exception, there were parts in which the way the author had described which were filled with much blood and gore, there was also quite a lot of vulgar words used. As I said above the writing style at the beginning was quite boring which made me want to stop reading the story but I decided to continue and I was glad I did.
The Mystery of Flight 2222 by Thomas Neviaser was a book that completely exceeded my expectations and took me by surprise. I was expecting a typical plane crash and what the survivors would do to survive...but what I got was something completely different. The story was often switching from the point of views of the survivors and at times the narrator too.
What I like most about the story was the way the author portrayed the entire plot. The story was built up perfectly with the right amount of tension and suspense. It was a page turner and I couldn't stop myself from wondering as to what comes next.
And the ending!!! Wow I wasn't expecting that! For someone who always guesses the ending of books this came as quite a surprise to me. The author ended the book perfectly leaving the reader speechless. The author also has a very clear descriptive way of writing. I felt like I was watching a movie by the authors writing style. And during most of the book I felt the tension and suspense wondering what might come next.
I don't have much to say that is negative about the book except I felt like the first few chapters needed a bit of editing and it was quite boring but as the story unfolded it became quite interesting.
In conclusion I rate this book 4 stars because I really enjoyed the story but if it gets edited a bit more it will be a definite 5 star for me.
If you're a person who loves stories about plane crashes, cannibalism, sharks and pirates then this is a perfect book for you.
Twisted but true by Darren Burch is a book that really exceeded my expectations. I went into the book not expecting much, but the various encounters the author has written about are enough to keep you gripping your seat. From runaway cows to getting sprayed with bodily fluids to a bank robber decked out in disco apparel, I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster the entire time.
Through the various incidents which he had portrayed throughout the book we are given an insight to a policeman's life, one we don't often see on the outside. The way the stories had been written makes you feel like you are watching a movie or something, it made me feel like I was right next to him watching everything unfold. The parts where he narrowly escaped getting killed kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was to come next. I thought that the book would be hard to read but it was quite easy and very informative. The stories were all so heartwarming, heartbreaking and shocking at the same time.
I liked how each chapter ended with a twist. In these lil twists the author ended the chapter on a lighter note.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves reading true crime or who knows a police office in real life as this would give you an insight as to what police officers go through on a daily basis. But I must say this is not a book to be read while you are eating or drinking because some of the stuff in it are very vivid and twisted.

The book was pretty okay...I really enjoyed the plot, the buildup of their relationship but then everything started going wrong for me when they said "I LOVE YOU" to each other. And they said "I love you" at the moment they both realized they had feelings for each other...WHAT?!!! From what ik u don't just say I love you 3 days after knowing a person or in this case from the moment u realize u have feelings for a person u don't say I love you.
After that part, the entire book was ruined for me. After reading that part all I could say was WTF??????????!
And at the end after abt 3 or 4 days of knowing each other HE PROPOSED TO HER.I mean come on..whatttt
I wanted to give the book a 2 star rating but I gave it 3 stars coz their birds were named Jughead and Betty..I thought that was kinda cute. Also I think from the entire book this was the only part I found cute.
Another reason I gave it 3 stars is even though I dint enjoy it someone else with a different mindset might.
I was looking for a short easy read because the end of the month was nearing and I needed to finish a book before the month end. And since I had to finish reviewing this book I decided to read it.I went into the book not expecting much but it completely exceeded my expectations!! I felt the tension and suspense and I was gripping my seat throughout most of the book.[a:Ava Strong 21508547 Ava Strong https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png] added in a few parts with Tom's friend (I think his name was Rudiger) where I couldn't hold in my laughter, those parts really helped with all the tension I felt throughout the rest of the book. Most of the time with book series I read the 1st or the 2nd book and don't continue because I feel like the rest of the books in the series aren't as good as the first of second one...but in this case I am really excited to continue the series and see what other mysteries Ilse Beck solves.Pick this one up if you are looking for a quick, short read that will keep you in suspense but at the same time make you laugh a bit.Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy of the book in exchange for a review:)
2.5 star rounded up
I went into the book not knowing anything. So the first part felt very unexpected.
I really enjoyed the first half(the way they met, their chemistry, etc.) But I HATED the second part, I actually wanted to DNF the book but decided not to coz I was already 65% in.
I am not a huge fan of Josephine I felt that she was too whiny, always comparing herself to Cassidy, etc.
And she fell for Cade pretty quickly and hard right? She kept expecting him to do the same. I mean you can't force someone to fall in love with you. I also hated how she kept imagining stuff about Cade and Cassidy and she had so much stuff in her and she kept it in and let it fester.
Everything would have been alright if she had just told him how she felt , but did she? NO, she kept imagining stuff that wasn't real and kept comparing herself to Cassidy and I found that soooooo annoying!!!
And when she said I love you to him and after that big scene, when Jude and Sierra found her she told them that Cade and she had broken up, which wasn't true AT ALL. Like I said she just kept imagining stuff and misinterpreting Cade.
From the entire book, my fav couple was Jude and Sierra honesty speaking, they understood each other well didn't make stupid assumptions of each other, etc. I also loved how Jude was so sweet to Sierra
The reason I gave it a 2.5-star rating was coz of Jude and Sierra if it hadn't been for them I would have given this a 1 star or lower.
At first, I was really enjoying the book I sympathized with Sara because, at times, it felt like the author had, umm...how do I put this...I felt almost everything Sara felt all that hurt, pain, betrayal and this is one of the reasons the book will stick with me for days to come. However the parts with that guy(I forgot his name) left me with a very bad taste in my mouth, the only words that come to my mind when I think of him are that he is a disgusting, lying, piece of shit. (Sorry for my language) And the parts with him included were too smutty. (I don't mind a bit of smut but this was too much!!)Also, another reason why I didn't give the book a higher rating was because of the way Sara lost weight, it was very unrealistic for someone to lose so much weight in such a short period of time and in that way because if the method used in the book was possible, wouldn't multiple people be lining up to get it done to themselves? But despite all that I learned a lot from the book and [a:Mark Donohue 627259 Mark Donohue https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png] got Sara's mindset and emotions perfectly.
Lemme start by saying this, I am someone who loves setting up the atmosphere to match the book, so if I am reading a book about Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc I need to read it during those specific time periods. But since this is getting published in Nov the atmosphere was way off.
Now onto the book, I found our MC to be a bit annoying at times by her snoopiness but that didn't bother me much, what I got annoyed with was the plot, it was very interesting but it could have been done better.
I also felt like the book was going around and around in circles and was filled with affair after affair which got so annoying at one point.
I got confused by the business aspect of it too (many unknown words to keep track of)
I feel like if the book was straight to the point and was edited a bit more I would have definitely given it a higher rating.
Overall I really enjoyed the premise of the book but I wasn't too satisfied coz of the above-mentioned reasons.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Not as good as the first book in the series but good.
This has everything I like in a book: A murder, amazinggg descriptions of food, wholesome friendships and one hot cop;)
Lemme telll you something, the book had some parts with a creepy intruder and coz I was reading this at night I had to stop and read something else
Reasons you need to read this;-Told from 3 pov(Anna, Jack and the killer)-Flashbacks-Super short chapters(so easy to get through)-A very creepy setting. I had chills through most of the book mainly coz of the setting)-Even though I guessed the killer halfway through the book it didn't spoil or ruin the book for me.This brings me to why I didn't give the book a 5 star rating, I guessed the killer about a quarter/halfway through the book, but that didn't ruin the book for me. I couldn't stop myself from suspecting everyone at that point. And in classic [a:Alice Feeney 15904689 Alice Feeney https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1484753445p2/15904689.jpg] style she threw all the twists in the last few chapters. It felt like we didn't have enough time to process one twist when she thew in another and another and another. If it isn't obvious already...HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book!!
