The romance is a very slow burn, but the get together of the MCs didn't make my heart throb as much as I thought it would. And the end of the book felt a little rushed.
I would've loved to see Kuna have puppies and Joshua's reaction to having to take care of them
What a disappointment. More like a porn plot who calls itself a book.
The protagonist main point of view didn't help at all in getting to know all the characters fully. All we know is that Ketahn and Ivy had sex and Ketahn and Ivy are horny and want to fuck and that these two understand perfectly what those around them think and feel just by looking at them
Very shallow relationships.I was hoping to a bit more wholesome moments between characters. Something that can build into a little tension but no. The author's make them want to fuck each other immediately. Of course it gets repetitive and boring.
What a shame for such a good idea for a book. It had so much potential wasted on characters devoid of any personality. Seriously, all the other characters acted and felt like they were Ivy and Kethan but with different bodies.
The story evolves just around the MC's and their wish to fuck. Oh and of course all of its remained of man kind either die, get in situations with other aliens or are gay and no one bats an eye to the fact that that would ruin their chances of continuingthe human legacy
It's a little boring. The narrating it's too formal and impersonal, and it doesn't immerse me into the life of the oldest daughter of the tsar. It also seem redundant at time, events repeating themselves. It's really a shame.
It's moving too fast. I barely get used to them interacting and she already thinks about his underwear and he glances at her body multiple times. Not taking in consideration that 2 weeks prior his 5 year old died and 2 days prior her grandma died. Come one, I would grieve more for a dog than these to had for their loved ones.
This book deserves 2.75 stars in my opinion. The start of the book was a little hard becauseI had to get used to the world, their names and style of speaking but it got better by the end. I could say it is a guilty pleasure of mine but it lacked story plot and character development in order to receive more stars.
It lacked build up. Everything happened kind of fast. He found the ship. He found her and kept her. She woke up. They had a day or two of fighting but then catched “feelings”.
My pet peave was that they started to understand each other's language in just a few days.
Also it was way to much sex in my opinion. A single, well-crafted scene could have been impactful, but the repetition led to a sense of monotony, and I found myself skipping those pages.
Are the characters lovable? Well yes but they are also boring because they have nothing more going on than being horny for each other
But it really is a guilty pleasure of mine as it had made my heart throb a few times.
I can't get attached to female lead. She is the most annoying character. The author tries to make her look less bad by making her victims tyrannical and deserving to die. But it's a cheap way to make your MC look like a good and innocent person. I don't like her interactions with death either. I feel like Death could've been more mysterious but he got the personality of a 17 year old. Boring.
Better than the first book in some aspects.
I would've really enjoyed if there was more wholesome interaction between Rekosh/Ahmya and Telok/Lacey
