This book was very melancholy to read. I had a hard time getting through it because the character whined a lot. It wasn't until the end, when she realized that she had depression that everything finally clicked for me. After that I was able to put the book into a bit more perspective and enjoy the story telling
Marley is back home with her tail between her legs, she doesn't know what she wants to do in life and is looking to leave her small town as soon as possible. She takes a temporary teaching job and agrees to coach the soccer team. Jake is the perfect teacher, he is great with kids and knows how to talk to parents. He is the perfect person to fake date while Marley tries to repair her image with the school. Too bad those sneaky feelings start taking over.
This book is funny and since the adults are older, it makes them more relatable. It is one of my go to recommendations for others.
This book is so darn good! It is very sexually explicit and explores some major kinks but don't let that stop you. The plot is also great. It focuses around Belle who grew up in a very strict Catholic household. This book helps to unfurl her sexual side as well as heals the parts of her that feels shame for being human.
